Schuylkill Haven Recreation Department SH Rec Dept Office is housed in Neighborhood/Senior Center. Many events are hosted here including Special events are also held by the Rec Dept.

Recreation Department has several programs that they run during the year including T-Ball and biddy basketball. This page will have information about all the programs and special events held by the Rec Dept as well as a few other groups in Schuylkill Haven. The Community Center/Senior Citizen's Center plays hosts to senior events, Recreation events, Biddy Basketball and more. Council Chambers are also located here. The gym and two rooms are available to rent for meetings, showers, and small parties. SH Rec Department also manages Bubeck Park(www.facebook.com/pages/Bubeck-ParkStoyers-Dam/153800827976528), Island Park, Compost Park field, and 8 playgrounds along with the Neighborhood/Senior Center.

Just a reminder that Volleyball skills and drills start this Sunday at the rec for those that signed up. The 5th-6th grade clinic will go from 2:00 - 3:00 and the 7th-8th grade clinic will go from 3:00 to 4:00. The classes will start this Sunday and go to October 18th. Cant wait to see you all there.

🏀🏀Basketball Registration is now OPEN! 🏀🏀

Kindergarten basketball is a 6 week introductory program. Child must be enrolled in Kindergarten to participate.

Boys divisions and Girls divisions for those in grades 1-6 are also open.

Choose carefully to make sure you are selecting the correct grade.

Every division has a cap. If we reach our Max participants for a division we can not accept any more and that division will be closed. So do not hesitate and sign up today!
