Just pulled the trigger after years of just getting by and keeping pretty busy..it’s time for TableTek to get back on the horse! Covid wrecked us, well not really! Downsized and limited our range it did. I miss the road, this weekend was a small start back to it. Two new table installs in my new truck! Time to get at it again!

Just finished 8 tables at Round One in Exton, PA. What an awesome place! Biggest arcade I’ve ever seen! It’s like a casinos for kids if poker machines were grabber games!

Time to freshen up those tables!

I met Andrew Worcester via a referral online where he was looking for someone to repair his pool table. The previous guy’s name kept coming up, I guess he’s the “local” guy. Onsite the table install was a sh*t-show. Improperly stretched Simonis with ripples everywhere, seams separated on both sides & just a plethora of non pool table shims and wax. Upon opening up, I saw two sets of staples and plaster over untrimmed (toilet seal?) wax. Someone’s local guy? With 30 years in the business? Well, Let the pics show the before & after.

This job was 2.5 hrs each way. I don’t like driving, but I like crap work worse. Don’t let a travel charge discourage you from looking for someone who turns out proper work!

So I’m recovering a customers’ table and he’s asking about filling holes in slate. Hmm that’s interesting. Well the previous company who swore they worked on pool tables, apparently they under delivered. I’m way too old to bash competition, but I’ll show photos!

It is important that you glue slate together before wax. Reduces chance of a seam separation. Take the 5 minutes and save the headache!

7’ Playcraft RioGrande with Steel Grey Championship cloth. Bought via SawyerTwain. With three piece wood hard top and matching pool cue stand! Cloth is in 80% shape, I’d reuse personally.
