🚨LYAA Archer Spotlight 🚨

Alexander was an Eagle for 2026 season. He shoots a PSE Archery bow with Gold Tip arrows and AAE vanes. He has been on the team almost 3 years and love the competitions. His favorite is the Keystone Challenge because he gets to do all 3 archery 🏹 disciplines in one day.

Outside of archery Alexander enjoys football 🏈, basketball 🏀and baseball ⚾. His favorite food is sushi. Fun fact - Alexander is an artist 🎨.

Coach Lucas and Coach Hunter wrapped up their summer youth classes today with a mini Keystone Challenge. The kids had a chance shooting indoor, outdoor and 3D. Fun was had by everyone 🏹 🎯.

Congratulations Hunter, Abby, Darby and Kendyl! All earned 🥇 in their respective categories meaning we have 4 USA Archery Ohio State Champions for 2026! It was a beautiful day in Ohio and a great course.

🚨LYAA Archery Spotlight🚨

Hunter has been on the team for 2 years and is currently shooting a Darton Archery bow, with Gold Tip arrows, AAE veins and Bee Stinger Stabilizers. His interest in archery started with hunting. His favorite thing about archery are the teammates and coaches. Hunter's favorite competition so far has been the S3DA 3D Nationals because he loves 3D and it's fun to shoot against people from all over the country. Outside of hunting and competitions, you can find Hunter coaching both youth and adults at Limerick Bowmen as he is a USA Archery Level 1 coach!

Fun fact about Hunter - he is a National Champion Umbrella Holder! He also likes burgers, hunting and fishing.

🚨LYAA Archer Spotlight🚨

Margaret is a Jr. Eagle on the team in 2026 shooting a compound bow 🏹. She loves everything about archery, and was introduced to archery by her big sister! Her favorite shoot was the Limerick Outdoor shoot as it was really fun. Outside of archery, Margaret loves ice skating ⛸and having fun.

Fun fact - she is always hungry and she can't pick a favorite food as she loves them all. 🍕🍓🍇🍪

🚨 LYAA Coach Spotlight 🚨

Gary Gerhart is the head coach of Limerick Youth Archery, and part of the brainchild behind this amazing team. He brings both his professional archery experience and youth coaching experience to the team developing amazing archers and shaping fantastic people. Gary (usually just referred to as Coach), shoots a Mathews Title compound bow and has been shooting archery since he was a teenager. His favorite thing about archery and the LYAA team is the great people he meets 😀. Outside of archery, he enjoys hunting and spending time with his family, but honestly, he is always thinking about and planning something for archery 😆

Fun fact - Coach has set up multiple couples who have gotten married! 💍
