Hess Field Wiffle Ball

Hess Field Wiffle Ball Hess Field Wiffleball is made up of a group of guys who enjoy playing wiffleball.

The group has played together for over 10 years, most recently moving away from their original playing field on Cherry Lane in Glenville, NY. Over the past two years, this group of Upstate New Yorkers has represented New York's Capital Region at the National Wiffleball Association's National Tournament. Twice the group has been crowned Regional Champions, and in 2015 the team placed 3rd in the National Tournament.

It was with great sadness we learned about the passing of former HFWB player, Ricky Rafferty. He joined our family in 2009, and quickly emerged as a key member for the Indians. Ricky was quiet and reserved off the field, but was a true competitor with a yellow bat in his hands. He will be missed.

We'd like to have a tournament on Sunday June 25th starting at 11am. This will be one of the several tournaments to get us eligible for nationals.

Please let us know if you'd like to make a team 3-4 ppl max). Games will be held at the Rotterdam Junction field.

A much needed HFWB Update.

With all the uncertainty regarding the HFWB, I would like to announce that we will be holding a fast pitch tournament at the end of June (possibly the 25th). This tournament will get us eligible for Nationals in mid July.

If you plan on being apart of our National squad (which has an automatic bid this year), please make sure you are able to attend.

We will be playing at Rotterdam Junction. All our rules for the 2017 season will mirrored around the NWLA rules. We will have a later update regarding the rule changes.

We're sorry for the lack of communication. It's been a trying past 12 months, but we're making the best of it. Stay tuned.
