💋The Wonderful World of Filler💋⁣

You hear about filler all over the media. Celebrities, singers, and influencers get it! A few years ago, it was almost looked down upon to get work like this done! But there isn’t much education about what filler actually is and how it can help create a more 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡, youthful look! ⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿? Filler is made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar (found naturally in the body) that adds temporary volume and definition.⁣
Over time, we lose fat pads in our face which results in the skin to “sag” and look flat! Filler acts as a replacement for those fat pads that are lost over time!⁣

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿? The possibilities are endless! Fillers can be put in the cheeks (the perfect contour), chin/jawline (to elongate the face), lips (for a perfect pout OR hydration), hands (for volume loss), nasal labial folds/NLF (deep smile lines) and more! ⁣

𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲? MINIMAL! No working out or extreme heat for 48 hours and then you’re free to go about your normal routine! ⁣

𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲? It’s common and you can! Our face is FULL of vessels and you should feel lucky to walk away with no bruising! I would suggest making sure your appt is spaced 1-2 weeks from any major event!😊 ⁣

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲? You should decrease/eliminate caffeine and alcohol consumption 2 days before your appt! These increase bleeding! Prepare 3 days out by taking over the counter Arnica tablets to decrease bruising.❤️⁣

So, as you can see, filler isn’t to be feared! I make sure each client walks away still looking like themselves! Not a fan of the “overdone” look like the media portrays! ⁣
