πŸ” Quit the Junk Food - Seems pretty obvious but you would be surprised. Many people think if they come to the gym 3 days a week they can still eat rubbish all weekend long and get away with it. I'm afraid to tell you that often isn't the case!

πŸ“… Plan your Week - Staying organised and planning your sessions during the week will really help with motivation and holding yourself accountable. Plus, let someone else know and then they can hold you accountable too

πŸšΆπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ Up your Neat - Taking your dog for a walk, getting off the bus 1 stop early and taking the stairs instead of the escalator are all ways you can up your non-exercise activity

πŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Weight Training - Regular sessions will improve your strength and fitness but also your posture, sleep, bone density and help to maintain weight loss and boost metabolism.

πŸ’€ Get Plenty of Sleep - Sleep suppresses hunger and signals fullness in the brain. Sleep deprivation forces the body to make more ghrelin and less leptin, increasing your appetite.

πŸ’ͺ🏻 Be Consistent - The key to success! If you restrict yourself the chances are you will fall off the wagon and go back to your old ways. Find whatever works for you & stay consistent at it. Even if this means it takes longer to reach your goals, at least you will sustain them.

Being good' vs. 'Being bad'

Have you ever realised how easy it is to consume the same amount of calories in nutritious food as it is in less nutritious food?

Sure, the avocado on toast with be healthier nutrition-wise

But the calorie comparison remains the same


So if you're calorie counting & your aim is to lose weight

Make sure you are aware of the calorie content in everything you consume ❗️


The media is constantly telling us that carbs & sugar WILL make us fat

This is NOT true

Sure, a diet made up of sugar and carbs isn't healthy

But if you eat a nutritious diet, and control your calorie intake, then you don't need to be afraid of consuming some sugar and carbs in moderation


If your aim is to lose weight you need to be in that calorie deficit

And this means burning more calories than you consume

We are here to promote a healthy balanced food group cutting, no absurd restrictions ❌


We often have clients come to us and explain they have struggled with their weight their entire life

And 99% of them have tried fad diets πŸ₯²

They had lost weight temporarily, but their relationship with food wasn't any better

Do you have trouble staying on track at the weekend?

Here are some tips:

1. Plan your meals- we can end up going off track when we have to buy lunch from the nearest petrol station or work canteen

2. Drink more water and try to stay consistent. Just because it is the weekend it doesn't mean you can suddenly eat 3 takeaways

3. If you're worried about over-eating at an event, eat before you go! (not that anyone is going to events right now πŸ˜‚)

4. Not everyone wants to plan their life 24/7. Go for that meal out, enjoy yourself! Just get back on track as soon as you can
