Had a wonderful round at Starfire Golf Club... This is a true golf gem of Scottsdale! A beautiful course, a blend of challenges and in great shape!!
I just learned that Prince, the beloved male mute Swan that lived on the Starfire Golf course in Scottsdale for many years was brutally murdered with a rake yesterday by one of the Starfire groundskeepers. This has made all of us in the Starfire community very sad. I hope they will be taking proper measures to ensure that this person is punished. Firing him on the spot would be the appropriate thing to do. ☹️ Please follow up on this....
Little Dreams Come True’s First Annual Golf Tournament for a Cause was so successful!! We put on this event in record time (2 months) with the help of so many amazing volunteers, sponsors, and over 50 players who came out!! All to benefit and support Eli, a sweet 5 year old boy battling leukemia! Thank you to EVERYONE who came out, supported this event, donated their time and donated their money to help Eli and his family! My name’s Jack Tate and to reiterate, I hit my first hole in one on Sunday afternoon on the 14th hole of the King back nine. It was a front left pin placement and my buddies range finder said 131 yards. Took at pitching wedge, landed the ball on the front of the green about 3 feet past the fringe and it rolled another 6 feet or so into the hole. Congrats Jack for your first! Many more to come.

Congratulations to Patrick O'Keefe for his Hole-In-One on King #10 from 197 yards using a 3 Hybrid. Definitely one of the hardest holes on the course to even get it on the green in one let alone in the hole. Maybe a little Irish luck helped out.
