Impala 250cc. "cafe" racer.
Specializing in repair and restoration of 1966 - 1993 Montesa motorcycles. My first motorcycle was a Moto Beta 100. It didn't matter. Warren in 1975.
It was the Enduro model, as my Dad would not let me have the scrambler version! I took the lights off and gutted the exhaust anyway. I rode that thing around the fire roads in Medford Oregon for about a year and then graduated to an orange tank Cappra in 1968 and never looked back. Take one Maico, change the down tube and motor mounts and you have a Montaico. I still have the motor. Ridden by Charles Welk, aka Lambchops. Whereabouts unknown. The folks at Montesa in Los Angeles were not amused....Thanks to Glen Buckles for the only known photo of this "project"

Dutch motocross racer Jo Lammers, aboard his Montesa, readies for the 1973 Swiss 500cc World Championship Grand Prix round in Payerne. Jo was a multi-time Dutch Motocross Champion, and he raced both the Trophee and Motocross des Nations as part of the team from the Netherlands.
