➕The law of addition can be a very helpful tool when trying to change your habits.
➖Instead of trying to subtract something, focus on adding something in that will serve your fitness or health.

Another super simple way to get that protein in (and it’s only 30 minutes of cooking) simple.😎This sheet pan recipe tastes like a special occasion dinner!
Just chop up the veggies and whisk together the sauce – and you’ll have a tasty teriyaki-style dinner in less than 30 minutes.
✅TIP: It’s also great with chicken tenders – just be sure to add a few minutes to the cooking time.
For a heartier meal, serve this with rice or quinoa.
Cashew-Shrimp Sheet Pan Dinner
(serves 4)
12 oz (340 g) broccoli florets
1 diced bell pepper
1 medium sweet onion, chopped
2 Tbsp avocado oil
2-3 pinches each of sea salt and pepper
2 Tbsp coconut or liquid aminos
2 Tbsp orange juice
Dash of hot sauce
1 lb (450 g) peeled and deveined large shrimp (fresh or thawed from frozen)
¾ cup (90 g) raw cashews
Preheat your oven to 400ºF/200ºC and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, toss together the broccoli, bell pepper, and onion with the oil, salt, and pepper. Pour onto the sheet pan and place in the oven, and roast for 10-12 minutes.
While that’s cooking, prepare your sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the aminos, orange juice, and hot sauce.
Remove the vegetables from the oven and add the shrimp and cashews to the sheet pan. Drizzle the pan contents with the sauce and stir to combine. Place back in the oven and roast until the shrimp are cooked through, 5-7 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve boom. 💥 🍤

🔥What’s the #1 enemy of your goals?🔥
I’m talking about the absolute biggest roadblock standing in your way.
There are so many to choose from:
* Not having enough time
* Lack of support
* Not knowing what to do
* Your genetics
* Pizza
* The list goes on and on!
😲But what if I told you that none of those things are actually your enemy?
That’s because the # 1 thing standing in your way is often YOU
We get in our own way in so many ways. Here are just a few:
* You haven’t made reaching your goals a true priority. This means you let your healthy habits slide when you’re stressed/tired/something more fun comes along. (That’s ok it happens to the best of us)
* You have imposter syndrome. You don’t think you are worthy of your goals, which makes it easier to quit.
* You haven’t set yourself up for success. (This can be super confusing with all the programs and information out there) It’s super easy to get discouraged and quit when you don’t have a plan, support, accountability, etc.
* You think you don’t have the willpower. EVERYONE (and I mean EVERYONE) struggles from time to time. But when you know WHY your goal matters to you, it’s easier to overcome those struggles. Your why is your foundation of everything, this is something that would highly encourage you to sit down and think about today.
* You let one “slip” derail you. No one is perfect 24/7. The people who reach their goals get up after a slip-up, dust themselves off, figure out what went wrong, and get back at it!
Those are just a few exsamples that I see regularly.
💡BUT… knowing yourself and being aware of the ways that YOU tend to get in your own way, will help you to become even STRONGER.
What would happen if the next time you sabotaged yourself, you took some real time to think about the reasons why – without beating yourself up for it?
“Know that you are your greatest enemy, but also your greatest friend.” – Jeremy Taylor.
Your mindset makes all the difference!
Taking some real time to explore it – whether you do it by journaling, working with a coach, or talking with a trusted mentor or friend – can help you reconnect with the reasons your goals matter to you.
Because when your mindset is right, you can overcome just about any obstacle that is standing in your way!

One of the hardest things for clients is having the time to cook…
-
Here is a super simple recipe you can snag and use
-
It’s got just 3 ingredients… but you can add a bonus topping: cheese!
-
It’s a perfect option for those “emergency” nights when you don’t have the energy or time to make dinner from scratch.
-
It also makes for a GREAT meal prep recipe.
-
👉🏼TIP: You can use veggie burgers, ground turkey, chicken, or beef in this recipe.
Sloppy Joe Stuffed Potatoes
(serves 4)
-
* 4 sweet potatoes
* 1 lb (450 g) lean ground meat
* 1 12 oz (680 g) jar of your favorite good-quality marinara sauce
* Optional: grated cheddar or goat’s cheese
Wash, dry, and pierce the potatoes with a fork several times. Place in the microwave to cook (time will vary depending on your oven, 15-20 minutes).
-
While it cooks, heat a skillet over medium heat and spray with nonstick coating. Place the ground meat in the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally to break it up into bite-sized chunks. Cook until brown, 5-7 minutes. Drain off excess fat and add the marinara sauce.
-
When the potatoes are ready, place on plates and slice along the top, opening up to fluff the potato. Top with the marinara mixture, and sprinkle with optional cheese. Boom! Done.

Sorry, but i have no diet ideology to sell you….People are complex and messy, no one way is the universal answer to fat loss or being healthier. Each has it’s unique benefits and risks and drawbacks. I’ve seen clients succeed and “fail” with all of the mentioned diets…
In some ways that’s a really cool thing. It gives you the freedom to not be chained to one system if you try them and feel that it isn’t serving you…
Also, I might make some people upset here, but your diet probably has more in common with all other diets than you realize.

Great coaches in every field have these in common… 👉
1. They listen more than they talk.
-
2. They assess their client and gather information on what matters. They don’t just assumed they know what you care about or your situation.
-
3. They serve as a filter for information for their clients, so they can stay focused on the “big rocks” or things that make the biggest difference.
-
4. They have the confidence to admit when they don’t know something, but know where to look to get the information.
-
5. They make a commitment to learning.
-
6. Views their role as a commitment to making the path easier for clients, and doesn’t blame them for their shortcomings, instead focuses on strategizing to work as a team to come up with a solution.
-
7. Includes clients in the process, doesn’t indiscriminately dictate rules to follow.
