Jeremy Scott has taught me a lot of things — how to exercise, nutrition, and life lessons. I can’t believe it’s been nine years since I walked into your facility in cut off jean shorts just to check it out on a Friday so I would know where to go with my Groupon on Monday. You talked me into working out right then and there and afterwards, I couldn’t go up and down the stairs all weekend in our rental without wincing. Thank you for all you have done for me and what you have created in the past nine years that helps so many others as well. (PS, I didn’t have any painters tape to use this year on my shirt).
Did the 50 Rep Upper Body Challenge Today. Took exactly 10 minutes. Used 20lb DBs for all of it except for the last 20 reps of curl and presses. I needed to switch to 15s. Great combo! Thanks!
Hope this is allowed -- My wife and I are big OU fans from Oklahoma and will be in the area on December 13-16 to watch our first ever NFL game (Browns vs. Cardinals). For the last few years, I have followed Jeremy Scott and this page and it has been on my bucket list to workout at Jeremy Scott Fitness. I have a few questions that I hope can be answered either on here or by private message.

1. Is the Saturday workout session open to anybody? What
time and how long does the workout session last?

2. We will only be in the area for a couple of days (mainly a
Friday and Saturday night) -- what are some must
see / can't miss things to do in the Scottsdale/Phoenix

Because ever since i started lifting weights... push ups don't really work out for me😟
Can I kindly ask what do we gain from doing push ups except triceps and biceps
Since about late August I started paying attention to my food intake, as in “not eating whatever I felt like” & “not eating anything from Starbucks”... just those two things completely changed my cravings for food... I didn’t crave sweets or junk!!!! I finally started back up again at JSF and I’m proud to say I’m officially down 23 pounds!!! It’s the little decisions we make daily that add up, one pound at a time!!! Eventually I’ll post before & after photos, but I haven’t reached my after quite yet!

How You Spend Your Time….

There are 86,400 seconds in the day……. that’s why I wear it on my shirts to remind me of how precious our life time is!

The average American lives just under 30,000 days…

If you’re 26 you have about 20,000 days left….

If you are 54 you have about 10,000 days left….

I just wanted to remind you every 86,400 you get is a gift.

30,000 days get dropped into your life bank account….

You can invest them into traveling,

You can invest them into family,

You can invest them in being healthy,

You can invest them into a job you love,

You can also spend them being negative,

You can spend them being un-happy,

You can spend them on a job you hate,

You can spend them being out of shape,

We are all gifted time on this earth….

But how we go about spending that time makes our life either average or epic.

If you don’t like how you are spending your 86,400 -YOU CAN CHANGE IT!

Don’t spend your time settling for NOT having a body, a family, a job or a life you truly want.

Invest each 86,4000 in what you want to do both personally and professionally.

Surround yourself with those who lift you up, believe in you, and make you better.

Invest in yourself, your health, your education, and your happiness it’s the best investment you can make.

Catching up with the amazing Katie Johnson who happens to be one of my old homies, and also a Licensed Independent Social Worker.

Katie graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa; earned a Bachelor's in Psychology, with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Northern Iowa.

Her specialty clinical interests include working with adolescents and adults facing depression, anxiety, reduced or distorted self-perceptions, various forms of adjustment, grief and loss, relationship issues and identity development.

A passion of her practice is offering sports-related therapy with student-athletes.

In addition to that she is a former college athlete and avid lover of 90's / early 2000's hip hip and R&B like myself.

We dig deep into anxiety, stress, body image, perfectionism and share some nostalgic stories from our past along the way.

Talking all things strength, conditioning and college football with Tyler Owens. Tyler is The University of Arizona's Football Director of Strength and Conditioning.

Tyler is a real down to earth 🌍 dude who has worked his ass off and continues to do so to be the best at his craft. It was my pleasure to chop it up with him today and I think you kids will dig his story.

Owens joined the Wildcats from Alabama where was a part of five national championships as a strength coach and linebacker for the Crimson Tide.

Owens joined Coach Nick Saban's staff as assistant strength and conditioning coach prior to the 2015 season as Alabama won three national championships and four SEC titles while amassing an immaculate record of 79-6.

During his time on the strength staff, Owens helped train 48 NFL draft picks and a pair of Heisman Trophy winners.

Owens was a linebacker at Alabama from 2011 to 2014 as the Crimson Tide captured a pair of national championships and two SEC titles. The Nick Saban-led teams would post a record of 48-6 with Owens on the roster.
