Ready. Set..... GO

05/30/2026

Some people call this a hobby.

But when you spend every Sunday morning, cheering for every dog, every handler, every pass, every clean run, and every little win… it feels like so much more than that.

Flyball is early mornings, road trips, barking, chaos, teamwork, nerves, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.

This isn’t just a hobby.

This is our life. ❤️🖤

Bagel and Av are looking more and more like trouble in the best way. ❤️🖤

At Bad Company’s tournament earlier this month, Bagel completed head-to-heads in singles racing, and it was such a huge step forward for this pair.

You can see the confidence building and the pieces coming together. Av has put in the work, Bagel is getting closer and closer, and we are so excited to see them running with the team soon.

This pair is going to be a powerhouse.

Say yellow to our newest pups in training! Lucy and Roxie! They both showed a lot of promise this week! They both worked on jump value and recalls with a little distraction thrown in.

Big shoutout to Remy, Steve, and Roxanne for a great weekend at Bad Company Flyball’s tournament!

Remy, Steve, and Roxanne started training with us late last year, and it has been so fun watching their hard work start to come together. Two weeks ago, Remy ran in singles heats on both Saturday and Sunday against lots of different dogs, and showed huge improvement, focus, and confidence.

Steve and Remy always bring so much enthusiasm to practice, and we love seeing that energy carry over into the tournament environment. Remy has also been making great gains with passing, so we have a feeling it won’t be long before we see this team out in the racing lanes with Crazy Train racing teams.

A special thank you to Roxanne for all the support and encouragement she gives Remy, Steve and our team. It really does take a team, and we are so excited to watch Remy keep building and growing.

Big Crazy Train, congratulations to Dixie and her handler, Tonnie McBroom! ❤️🖤

Dixie earned her very first flyball point back in July at the Surf City Flyball tournament, but like a lot of young flyball dogs, her journey wasn’t perfectly straight from there. She backtracked a little, had some things to work through, and Tonnie never gave up on her.

Over the last ten months, Tonnie and Dixie have worked so hard. They kept training, gained focus, attended a Skidmarkz seminar with Jayne McQuillen and Emily Helin. Tonnie stayed positive, and most importantly, their relationship really blossomed. All that work came together at Bad Company Flyball, Inc's Fast and Furriest Flyball Tournament just over two weeks ago, where Dixie kicked it into high gear and earned another 260 points!

So yes — we can officially say it:

Dixie is a flyball dog!

Now that she has the game figured out, we know she is only going to get faster as Tonnie and Dixie get to focus on passing, endurance, and continue building confidence in the lanes.

This is such a huge accomplishment for both of them. Tonnie has been part of Crazy Train for just over six years. She started with her Beauceron, Ori, and has helped our team — and even other clubs — at countless tournaments by box loading, supporting, learning, and putting in the work behind the scenes.

Seeing Tonnie finally reach this goal with Dixie is incredibly special. She is a flyball dog handler, and Dixie is a flyball dog.

We are so happy for this amazing pair and cannot wait to cheer them on at many more tournaments. Way to go, Tonnie and Dixie! ❤️🖤🚂

🚂 Full speed ahead for Atryx and Jett! ❤️🖤

Atryx earned her very first flyball points back in February, but like most baby flyball dogs, she still had a few things to work through before we knew she was ready for the big show.

So going into Bad Company’s Fast and Furriest Flyball Tournament two weeks ago, the plan was simple: let her run a few singles races, build confidence, and keep things low pressure.

Well… Atryx apparently did not get the memo.
She looked SO good in singles that by Sunday we decided we might as well give her a shot on the team for a few heats and we had success.

And little girly showed us she was READY. As long as we didn’t push too hard. 🔥

We are so proud of Atryx and Jett for all the work they have put in. It is so exciting to see another height dog starting to take off l! Jett and Atryx add more depth to our multibreed team and give us yet another dog for our club roster.

Watch out, because this girly is just getting started!

Remix is officially a flyball dog!

A week and a half ago in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the Fast and Furriest Flyball Tournament hosted by Bad Company Flyball, Remix hit a huge milestone and earned his first flyball points!

We are so incredibly proud of Remix and his handler and best friend Aeryun. Remix has been working hard, learning the game, building confidence, and figuring out that flyball is basically the best thing ever invented. ❤️

And let’s just say… people might want to start paying attention now, because this dog is going to be FAST. Like, blink-and-you’ll-miss-him fast. 🚂💨

Congratulations, Remix and Aeryun!

What a weekend for Crazy Train!

First, a huge thank you to Bad Company Flyball, Inc for hosting such a wonderful tournament. Hosting a flyball tournament is a tremendous amount of work, and we know it takes so much time, effort, and energy. It is exhausting work, and we want you to know how much it is appreciated. We are so glad you continue to put your hearts into making this tournament something special every year, because it truly shows.

This is one our team loves coming to every year, because it is a supportive tournament for green dogs. Mat time and singles at a NAFA tournament are awesome, it is such a great chance for green dogs to get their feet wet, get a solid line-to-line time, and work on racing skills before being thrown into full team racing. This weekend, Remi, Bagel, Cosmo, and Kolache, all got singles experience, and every one of them showed marked improvement and gained invaluable flyball experience.

Bad Company also made the whole weekend fun outside the lanes too. The Saturday night dinner was such an awesome touch and gave everyone the chance to relax, sit together, talk, laugh, and enjoy time with teammates without having to scramble for food or figure out a restaurant. That kind of effort makes a big difference, and it is part of what makes this tournament so memorable. Our team is thinking about copying some of your ideas

A huge thank you as well to the 16 Crazy Train members who made the trip and helped make the weekend so much fun. We had a blast traveling, racing, learning, and cheering each other on. It was especially fun getting to travel with newer teammates Katherine, Steve, Roxanne, and AV!

We had so many bright spots all weekend long. Both of our teams came in second on Saturday, and we had green dogs stepping up in the lanes with Dixie, Remix, and Atryx. We were happy to have Bugatti back in action returning from injury. Also we were excited to see some great progress outside of racing. Yaupon kept it together in warmups, which was a huge win, and Lijah, Dart, Bagel, and Dez all did great during Saturday night Mat Time. Those moments matter too, and it was awesome seeing dogs gain confidence and valuable experience over the weekend.

We also want to thank 5280 Spaceballs Flyball Club for letting Cannon help out and for being so welcoming and kind. It was a lot of fun getting to run with new friends, and we especially appreciated all of their help when Cannon got a splinter! They showed so much care and support, and it meant a lot. It was also great seeing Aly Jabrocki again after so many of us had turned to her for training advice in the past. . After this weekend, we are even thinking about making the trip to the NAFA Spaceballs tournament in December!

We came home with more experience, more confidence, and even better memories. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this such a great weekend!
