Casting is an early release of the golf club during the downswing. This can result in a weak impact position with the lead wrist being cupped at impact, as well as cause inconsistent strikes at impact, and a loss of power and consistency.
How do we measure this in 3D?
Load the "Transition Sequence" in Tiles and see if the hand is firing before the rest of the segments or before the lead arm and the torso, like in the video.
In the kinematic sequence graph in the picture, we see the hand (brown line) cross over the X-axis (or transition) before the lead arm (blue line) and torso (green line). An efficient transition sequence would show the hand transition last (cross over the x-axis).

Stretch is a player's ability to create rotational separation between their pelvis and torso, called disassociation, during the swing. It is measured in degrees and can be viewed in the kinematic sequence graph. The proper amount of stretch for the individual player can enable them to create efficient speed.
Anytime the green line (torso) is underneath the red line (pelvis), there is stretch being created between the two. In the first swing we see minimal stretch (yellow shaded area) and you can correlate this to the player's rotational speeds in the yellow box on the left. In the second image we see an increase in stretch which may correlate to the increase in rotational speeds (this is a big part of the story, but not the full story).

working with to improve pelvic bends. Hoagie has a tendency to incur too much left side bend at the top, which effected his bends in the downswing. Retaining that excessive left side bend for too long caused heel contact, but more importantly it forced him to side bend super late (hook city). We are touching up the bends to improve his contact and shot shape pattern. Within 20 minutes we saw added club head speed, centered contact, and baby draws!
The pelvis is a primary power source for hitters, and it is crucial to be able to properly posterior tilt your pelvis into extension (or near) at contact.
Train pelvis bend at contact in biofeedback and capture swings live to see if the player is transferring this move into a full swing.
