In the mean time just know with all this craziness going on, it’s easy to be stressed and lost with what we need to be doing fitness wise..

Best advice I can give you is to simply continue to make your personal health a priority - especially right now! Stay active, go for morning walk outside and soak up some natural Vitamin-D!

As well we might all be training from home these days, but doesn’t mean we can’t still get a great workout... HOW?? because even with body weight and resistance bands, you can use “Higher Volume” training with slow negatives to create more “Time Under Tension” . Which yes allows you to still burn calories, improve insulin sensitivity and insure muscles are simulated!

WHY YOU DON’T GET RESULTS❗️

“Don’t expect to see a CHANGE, if you don’t make one!”

I get people who ask me for advice too often as to...
1)❓“WHAT SHOULD I DO, IF I WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT”
2)❓”IF I WANT TO PUT ON MORE LB’S WHAT SHOULD I DO”

FIRST...
It shouldn’t “ever be just WEIGHT LOSS specifically” - Rather the fact of the matter, it’s not just weight we want to lose, but if possible pure BODY FAT lost to get to a desired “weight” or look.

SECOND..
I get it, the ones who are smaller and want more SIZE in themselves. They say they want more LB’s or weight. But really they want more MUSCLE not just added BF% and just sloppy weight.

But...
Most don’t realize these two things TAKE TIME! Yes if you want to place MUSCLE on without much body fat bet your a*s it takes time!
If you want to loose only BODY-FAT without loosing any muscle in the process again, you bet your a*s it take TIME!

It’s not something that happens over night ladies & gents. Especially if you are doing it properly.

Plus something most forget to consider is ones own “HORMONES, METABOLISM, DIGESTION/GUT HEALTH, LIFESTYLE, etc”

Also if you want it to happen “YOU MUST BE WILLING TO CHANGE” because without change you can’t expect any different results that what you’ve always gotten.

Why is “LEG DAY” important?

1️⃣YOU’LL BUILD MORE MUSCLE.
Yes, cracking out the deadlifts will help build thicker slabs of meat.

Testosterone is a steroid hormone that is naturally produced in your body and plays a key role in the health of men, helping increase the growth of muscle mass & strength. Compound moves, such as squats & deadlifts, which use large muscle groups, help elevate your T-levels.

2️⃣BURN MORE CALORIES!
Did you know that your gluteus maximus (aka, your backside) is the largest muscle in your body? Probably best to not tell your girlfriend this. They won’t take it as a compliment. But there is good news regarding the size of your derriere.

Working these bigger muscles requires more energy, which means your body will have to burn more calories.

3️⃣YOU WON’T LOOK LIKE A CHICKEN.
Seriously it’s not a GOOD LOOK🐔

4️⃣YOU’LL IMPROVE YOUR BIG LIFTS.
You might not believe it, but your legs & core produce the majority of your power during heaving lifting. Yes, even when you’re bench-pressing, it is your lower body that is engaged to help provide a stable platform to pump from.

If you lack conditioning, your big lifts will only get so far. Performing functional exercises, like deadlifts, however, will strengthen your legs, glutes and lower body, while developing all-over muscle & mobility.

Remember, core strength supports the body in almost every movement. & the deadlift – the King of Exercises – is the key core strength building movement.

5️⃣REDUCE THE CHANCE OF INJURY!
Neglect your lower half & you are running the injury gauntlet.

Muscle imbalances, poorly conditioned hamstrings, & a lack of mobility will lead to a number of issues such as low back pain & ACL injuries. Squats, lunges & deadlifts will help develop your hamstrings, build muscle around weak joints & help promote stability & mobility.

Let’s be clear about this, chaps. If you are serious about building muscle, developing functional strength, & reducing the risk of injury, then you need to work on your legs. Often. If you're working out three times a week, one should be dedicated to your lower half.
