Spring Equinox
It is a day of equal balance of light and dark on the Earth, the time of exact balance between the male and female polarity.
Plants and animals alike are coming back to life as daylight is prolonged. It has been celebrated as a time of cleansing, fertility and rebirth.

Meditation for Mental Balance
Simply sit cross legged, and extend your arms out to the sides like wings.
Flap your hands and wrists as though you were flying for your life (and in a way, you are!), all the while breathing long and deep for 3 minutes.
Your arms move slightly, but the main action is in your hands and wrists.
