Our 14U NEPA Adrenaline Blue played lights-out this weekend at the Tripp Park Rumble.

Despite rain delays, and having to play a full tournament in one day, these ladies played fantastic.

Our girls started the day as the #1 seed after 2 pool play games. They continued this streak into bracket play allowing only 1 run in 3 games of play while putting up 27 runs. 🔥

Unfortunately, our only loss of the day was in the semi-final game.

These ladies finished 3rd out of 8 teams and we couldn't be more proud of them.

Here are some tournament highlights:

💥 8 players with a .333 batting average or higher.

💥 29 hits which included 27 singles and 2 doubles.

💥 27 runs scored in 4 games

💥 Our 4 pitchers only allowed 2 earned runs out of 4 games played with 6 walks total in 16 innings pitched the whole tournament.

Sometimes the cards do not fall your way, but we are super proud of these ladies and their exceptional performance.

Last weekend, our girls battled in State College, at the 3rd Annual Mount Nittany Challenge, against some great competition. Saturday brought heavy rain that canceled all of our games. But, the girls had a hot tub, pool, basketball court, and the Creamery close by. 🍦🙂

After some team bonding, these ladies were ready to play on Sunday.

Somehow, at State College, our team always ends up playing the top-seeded teams and usually the team that wins the tournament. 🤷‍♀️ But, it makes for some great games that really challenge our players.

Here are some highlights:

- 7 out of 9 of our players had a batting average for the weekend of .333 or higher.

- Our girls had 27 hits which included 18 singles, 5 doubles and 4 triples. 🔥

- Our team was the only team to hold the tournament champion (Hailstorm) to one run for 3 innings of play.

- We were also the team who won a game by the highest margin in the whole tournament, 18-0 in 3 innings during bracket play against Krush.

The back-to-back games were not helpful for our team of 9 who only had 1 short break in 4 games. But, it showed our players what they can accomplish if they dig deep. 💪

Super proud of these ladies and their fight. Can't wait for our tournament this weekend.

This past Memorial Day weekend, our NEPA Adrenaline 14U Blue team started their tournament season in Mountaintop with some tough competition in the 12-team Memorial Madness tournament. 🥎

These ladies started out on Saturday with 1 loss, 1 win, and 1 tie with our only loss on Saturday to the team who won the tournament.

Even though things did not go our way on Sunday, we are so proud of these ladies and how they played. It was a great showing for a great team that is just getting started.

These ladies had several multi-base hits, as well as several lights-out plays on the field, and strong pitching!

I would like to give a special congrats to Nancy Mecca with 1 and Reagan West with 2 out-of-the-park homeruns this weekend! 🔥🔥🔥
