Auditions for LMSD’s The Nutcracker will be held on Sunday, September 20th, with separate audition times for:

🩰 Adult Dancers
⭐ Dancers Ages 7–10
✨ Dancers Ages 11+

Auditions are open to the public, and some ballet experience is required.

🩰💪 BOYS BALLET AT LMSD!

This fall, we’re excited to offer Boys Ballet for students in 7th grade through high school, taught by former ballet dancer and current tennis coach Raphael Cooper!

Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve strength, flexibility, balance and coordination, or a performer wanting to become more confident onstage, ballet has so much to offer. No previous dance experience necessary!

Behind every plié, relevé, extension, and seemingly effortless movement is strength, control, balance, coordination, and repetition. We love this reminder from Ballet Science about just how much our muscles are working every time we step into the studio!

And these benefits aren’t just for experienced dancers or adults. Our littlest dancers are building strength, coordination, balance, body awareness, confidence, and so much more from the very beginning. ✨

LMSD is currently accepting new students of all ages, from little dancers taking their first steps into the studio to adults discovering—or rediscovering—their love of dance.
