Tough loss today. Bats were cold. Tight game going through 6 innings.

The Seacoast Braves bats stayed hot in their matchup with the Mariners, putting together a strong team effort at the plate with 17 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, and 6 stolen bases.

Jake McManus led the way from the top of the order, going 4-for-6 with 4 runs scored, while Jake Bruce had a huge day going 3-for-4 with a double, triple, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Tom Labatte supplied the big swing with a home run and 3 RBIs, and Rick Terry helped his own cause with 2 hits, a double, and an RBI. Scott Micheaud and Nick Arroyo also added multi-hit performances to keep the lineup rolling.

On the mound, Rick Terry battled through 5 innings, allowing just 3 hits while striking out 5. Jake Bruce came in and slammed the door, throwing 3 scoreless innings with 6 strikeouts to close out the win.

A strong all-around team win for the Braves.
