PLUM ISLAND BEACHES CLOSED... There has been an accidental waste water discharge in Haverhill into the Merrimack River... about 60,000 gallons of sewage! The Health Department has closed all Plum Island beaches effective immediately... and likely until Monday. The water quality will be monitored and the beaches will be reopened when it is deemed safe again!

We knew it was coming! Just didn’t know how bad! If this is keeping as many trees as they could; I would hate to see what clearing is!
