It is with deep regret that I must announce that Seaford Bowling Lanes must close their doors after 58 years. I want to thank ALL of our loyal patrons who have stayed with us over the years - Marty (29 years) and Gerald and myself (29 + years). For those who have joined us over this past summer despite the lack of AC you have my undying gratitude.
I fell in love with the lifetime sport of bowling 48 years ago during my first date with Gerald. The lanes were an important part of Gerald's growing up years and he continued with his career in bowling when he returned from his service in the Air Force. He thought of our customers as friends and family and we tried to serve the Seaford and surrounding area community to the best of our ability.
A special thank-you to our employees Marion Terry, Richard Cooper, Andrew Parlier, Linda Sutton, Sharon Bendler and Sara Fisher who have been here for years and our most recent hire Aubrey Weston. They will always be family. My children have been my rock. I don't think the lanes or my sanity would have survived Gerald's fight with cancer or his death without the help of Tina, Jennifer, and Matthew. Our last day to be open for business will be on Sunday October 18th. If you would like to stop in one last time to bowl a game and say goodbye we would love to see you. We are open Thursday from 1PM-5PM, Friday 1PM-close, Saturday 9AM-close, and Sunday 10AM - close. Thank you again for being such a big part of our lives. - Sincerely Paulette Sammons

We would like to congratulate Dylan Todd for winning 1st Place in Division B in the Marty Sammons Scholarship Tournament.

We would also like to congratulate Adin Chambers on winning 1st Place in Division A in the Marty Sammons Scholarship Tournament. Coming in second place in a tie were Brad Morgan and Kathryn Donati

Please excuse the "dust" while we spruce up the place. Lots in the works, we hope everyone will love the final results. Hopefully all will be done in time for the start of the fall leagues 2015-2016 season.

With the snow around and/or those sub freezing temps, join our elite membership and bowl unlimited amount of games a month for a low monthly rate. The membership also includes discounted rates in the pro-shop as well as a different sport shot weekly to try.

We will open at 6 PM today in order to give friends and family a chance to say a last Goodbye to Gerald as we lay him to rest.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for Gerald's viewing.. It was unbelievable how many people showed..
I hope the funeral will have just as good of a showing tomorrow.

Viewing for Dad (Gerald Sammons) will be 6pm-8pm Tuesday (1/20/15) at Cranston's funeral home in Seaford.
Funeral will be on Wed at 2pm at St Johns located in Seaford with a short viewing period starting at 1pm.
We hope everyone can come to show Dad one last time how much he was loved!
