Outrigger Outdoors was built out of frustration — and a lifetime outdoors. In 2015, a brand-new flounder gig purchased from a local tackle shop bent in half after the second fish of the night. That moment sparked a mission: build stronger, purpose-built gear that performs in real-world conditions. Founded in Texas and rooted in generations of hunting and fishing tradition, Outrigger Outdoors designs high-performance lighting systems and outdoor equipment trusted by professional guides, commercial fishermen, tournament shooters, and serious outdoorsmen nationwide. We pioneered color-adjustable flounder gigging and bowfishing lights — engineering systems that allow anglers to change color temperature on the fly to maximize visibility in both clear and muddy water. That innovation became the foundation of the Swamp Eye® line and helped redefine modern shallow-water lighting. Today, our lighting systems are used on guide boats, commercial rigs, private docks, and tournament setups across the country.
