Congrats to our team who won the South Coast Zone Title here at Poppy Hills. They finished at 28-under par which was one shot clear of Carmel Valley Ranch who will also advance to the 59th NCGA Zone Championship.

The 59th NCGA Zone Championship will take place at Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside on August 24-25.

On July 13th – 15th 2026, many top collegiate and state amateurs will be competing in The Bayonet Black Horse Amateur Championship. The 11th annual amateur will be held on the Bayonet Golf Course for 54 holes of championship golf. As one of the premier championship courses in California, we look forward to presenting one of the state’s elite amateur golf tournaments.

FORMAT:
Individual – The Individual Championship shall be conducted over 54 holes. There will be a cut after 36 holes, based on the number of players who complete round 2. In the event of a tie, the individual champion will be determined by a 3-hole aggregate playoff immediately after the conclusion of play.

ENTRY FEE: $350
– 2 Rounds of golf with a potential 3rd round, cart and range balls.
Tee Prize: Adidas Shirt & Taylormade Balls
