“Well, here at last, dear friends, on the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship in Middle-earth. Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.”
Thank you all for joining us on this incredible journey! More images and video to come, but for now the boys are enjoying hard-earned showers, beds, food, and time with family!

What’s a day of food for Pacific Boys? One bag for the AM, and one bag for the PM, with a freeze dried meal in the middle 👍 in the baggies are powders for drinks including whey protein, meal replacements, and tailwind electrolytes. Also of note are the custom bagged meals: ramen, couscous, and oatmeal. With only a few days to go, you bet we’re going to eat as many of these as we can! 😇

Day 38: This morning we passed 250nm to go! Getting very close and making sure we are safe and on course for these final few days.
Cloudier today with less wind and longer period waves but still good conditions to meet our daily targets.
Been quite the adventure, we expect the end to be in around 72 hours, hard to believe!

Day 36: Yep, still rowing!
Today we all thought there may be another marlin or maybe a shark following the boat - after all, we spent the greater part of an hour yesterday looking back trying to spot the dark shape in the water. However, todays beast was rather moot. It was a cloud of couscous Jon had cleaned out from his dinner bag. Fooled him too.
Favourable winds and waves driving us closer to Antigua! 🇦🇬

Day 33: Sporadic rain has become the norm on night shifts as we believe the cool air causes the hot ocean to form the numerous and often expansive clouds that drift high overhead.
The moon has made a return and provides a helpful light to track cloud movements so to judge which clothes if any you may or may not want soaked.
Clouds often bring stronger winds and this appears to have been true today, generally though conditions remain similar day over day with light cloud cover, hot sun, and winds from the NW.
Today we also had a visitor! Catamaran Temis on the way to Martinique came within 2 miles and we exchanged well wishes over the VHF radio. ⛵️
Sub-600nm to go 👍

January 11, Day 31: A month at sea, that’s pretty crazy to think about. Also crazy that we have 720 miles left, but who’s counting?

Day 30:
Winds and waves have died down considerably, which feels strangely familiar… but should continue to be in our favour as we progress towards Antigua.
Not long now, but still time to wonder if you’re going to get rained on during your night shifts.
Being back on our regular routine feels great and we were able to do laundry for the first time in a week! The hold up was mainly due to water splashing on deck and having to conserve power for the auto-tiller overnight due to the cloudier conditions. Today however, it’s back to being hot!
