Hi mamas - I'm 3 months PP and having sleep issues for the first time in my life (mostly going to sleep initially, not waking up). I'm thinking of trying a meditation practice (which I haven't ever been able to do, but I also haven't tried in earnest). Any apps or practice suggestions? Or any general advice for sleep / anxiety about sleep?

With Covid19 cases rising and to help support healthy returns to work, school and other activities we are moving all class this week to virtual. We will reassess this weekend and let you know about the following week. We encourage you to test at home and/or at testing sites.

Please dress in your regular workout attire + shoes. Bring your resistance band, couple cans of food, weights or use your own body weight. Make sure to have water on hand. Have kids home and around you? That's ok! We do too!

We can't wait to see you, get our sweat on and keep our community healthy!

A couple more days of our 12 Days of Body Well! Now up: equipment! We use resistance bands (that you get with your membership/session), your own body weight and optional weights, mini bands and core ball! Nothing too fancy but it GETS THE JOB DONE! Makes 4 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 cups great northern beans, cooked
1 cup cucumber, diced
1 cup yellow bell pepper, diced
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
2 scallions, chopped
2 TBSP fresh chopped parsley
8 cups kale
DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients together & enjoy with 2 TBSP of your favorite salad dressing.

Our Body Well program has so many nutritional offerings for you! 🥣 We focus on meals that are simple, nutrient dense and incorporate whole foods. Check this recipe out from our Winter Seasonal Nutrition Guide. YUM!

Fully Loaded Grain-Free Granola
Breakfast | Vegetarian Options
Makes 4 Serving

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup raw pecans
1/2 cup raw slivered almonds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup crushed walnuts
3 TBSP chia seeds
3 TBSP unsalted sunflower seeds
3 TBSP oil of your choice
1 TBSP cinnamon
1 TBSP honey or pure maple syrup
TOPPINGS

Fresh pears, chopped
Fresh apples, chopped
Dried cranberries
1/2 cup milk or yogurt of your choice
DIRECTIONS

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ingredients until fully coated with the oil & sweetener.
Spread the mixture evenly onto a large baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees. Then remove from oven, add roasted sunflower seeds, and stir.
Once the granola is visibly browned, let it cool completely.
Split into 4 bowls, top with the fruit of your choice and milk or yogurt of your choice.
