Mental health moment: when was the last time you did something sweet for yourself?
Insight Counseling & Yoga
I truly believe that if you can breathe, you can practice yoga. Check out my classes at Limber Yoga! I am a trauma-conscious, RYT 200 certified yoga teacher.
I found yoga as an insecure college student who was having frequent anxiety attacks. Yoga taught me to love and accept myself and provided helpful tools to manage stress and anxiety. I became a teacher to share its timeless healing power with people of any ability, age, ethnicity, size, and background. I completed my teacher training through The Grinning Yogi’s program and seek to honor the lineag

Do you take yourself on dates?
About a year and a half ago, I started this practice after reading The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. She encourages us to take ourselves on weekly “artist dates” — solo adventures to refill our creative well.
Mondays have become my day to date myself. Today’s date: a cardamom latte and pumpkin bread on Café Ladro’s sunlit patio.
This ritual has been such a comfort through my divorce — but honestly, it’s powerful no matter what season you’re in.
Are you dating yourself these days? If not, what’s holding you back? 🌿

I'm teaching a new class series for emotions ! Thursdays in October at 7:30 pm.
In these classes you'll explore the power of movement and breath to honor and process your emotions.
We'll use movement, mindfulness, and breath practices to feel and move through anger, sadness, fear, and joy.
The goal is to create space for feeling, healing, and releasing.
Use your regular class pack. Attend one or all of the classes - you choose!

I've got a support group starting 10/1!
Healing After Heartbreak is for women navigating the grief, anger, and uncertainty following a breakup or divorce.
Together, in a small, supportive group of six women, we’ll process our experiences through conversation, guided writing prompts, and grounding practices.
You’ll be held in a gentle space to feel your feelings, care for yourself, rediscover your strength, and explore who you are becoming.
In this group you'll:
Have the opportunity to express yourself and share authentically.
Be seen, heard, and supported by those going through a similar life experience.
Connect with others in a gentle, healing space.
Learn how to move through fear and encourage your authentic self to shine.
