Elijah Gozo is the brother of Real Salt Lake young star forward Zavier Gozo. Elijah played a significant role in Zavier's development, with Zavier noting that he grew up chasing his older brother and trying to emulate his soccer skills.

Elijah Gozo played for the RSL academy and just graduated from Utah Valley University after playing NCAA soccer for 4 years logging 54 matches, 27 shots, 1 goal and 2 assists.

📝 The Tacoma Defiance have signed Jared Ríos, a 21-year-old Costa Rican defensive midfielder playing for AD Municipal Liberia. Jared Ríos will join the Seattle Sounders organization in August after the Central American and Caribbean games where he is representing Costa Rica.

The Seattle Sounders organization has put an emphasis on using the Tacoma Defiance as a way to sign young players and develop them for first team minutes. Recent examples are Georgi Minoungou who was transferred to the Colorado Rapids for $2 million.

💰 Free agent and former West Brom striker Daryl D**e has signed with Orlando City SC in MLS through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, with a club option for 2027-28.

The Seattle Sounders received $75,000 in 2027 General Allocation Money (GAM) in exchange for D**e’s Discovery Priority. Seattle also set to receive an additional $75,000 GAM if certain performance-based metrics are met.
