Yes, everyone has a pelvic floor and it’s not just important for pregnant or post-partum people. In Kyla’s Core and Pelvic Floor class she will teach you to connect with your deeper ab muscles. A strong core and pelvic floor can improve your posture, reduce low back pain, stop leaking, improve prolapse symptoms, and brace safely with diastasis recti and hernia.

If you have any questions, as always, you can let us know in the comments or give us a call. All genders are welcome! This class is safe as early as 6 weeks postpartum or post abdominal surgery with clearance from your care provider.

It's never too late to get your core strong again. Join us Tuesdays at 2pm or Saturdays at 12pm!

Strength training is for everyone, but we know a personal trainer isn’t in everyone’s budget. So we’ve created a few different options for strength training and coaching to make getting healthy and feeling good more accessible.

We have three options:
Option 1- Personal 1:1 Coaching
Option 2- Lift Lab Group Training
Option 3- Lift Lab Group Fundamentals

If you have questions about which option is best for you, book a consultation on our website, send us a message, or just drop in!

Wondering who strength training is for and why it’s important? We got you.

Strength training isn’t just weight lifting for gym bros who want big muscles. It's for everyone who wants to be healthy and feel good in their body, and can be especially helpful for people who are hypermobile, in perimenopause or menopause, and people over 35. Benefits include: decreased pain, improved heart health, stronger bones, better mental health, and so much more.

If you want to learn about strength training at Misfit, look out for Part 2 later this week!

It’s disheartening to see skinny culture coming back into fashion. We think you can be muscular and strong and that can be feminine and attractive.

Also, if you diet yourself away to practically nothing, you can’t fight the patriarchy. 💪
