I get itâŠno one wants to weigh and track their food đ
But what if it was the difference between making progress and not? Would you do it?
The food scale is unbiased, unwavering, it is pure reality. We should be lovers of the objective truth, and willing to embrace the accountability that it provides. It is your friend who tells you just how much peanut butter is 100 calories and how much Mayo on your sandwhich is too much. Itâs brutally honest.
Not everyone needs to weigh their food. But I do consider it a super valuable tool, especially when starting out, mainly because of how eye opening it can be. Sometimes we need that tap on the shoulder saying âyou actually did drink 500 calories in coffee yesterdayâ.
If youâre feeling stuck despite doing âall the right thingsâ, consider adding in this accountability and consistency. Itâs helpful, educational, and way better than feeling like youâre stuck.

This is definitely a trend that we are seeing with a lot of moms in our communities!
Being a mom is just plain hard on your body. That's the reality. And we are seeing a lot of moms just trying to survive motherhood, not taking the time to get themselves pulled back together between babies, and then developing things like low muscle tone, pelvic floor issues, insulin resistance, depression, low libido, high cortisol, low thyroid, or just plain ending up weak and skinny fat.
We would love to normalize taking good care of your body before, during, and after pregnancies. Having it be normal for mom to have some gym time and be prioritizing healthy food practices. To know that the physically and mentally hard things during this season don't have to be as hard as we make them, and that some minor health and lifestyle practices can help tremendously and you can have a vibrant life, not just one a life that is barely making it through each day!
If you are in this season of life we would love to help give you the gift of a health and vitality by leading you through how to care for their body well NOW and in the years to come.

Itâs never too late to make a change. 80 year olds can still build muscle. How you are today does not have to be forever. đ

Someone diligently working to lose weight and someone not interested in ever losing weight may weigh and look the same, but their actions and words will be very different. Judge accordingly.
