This week's question: How do you show love to those around you? π
Lot of quiet, intentional answers this week. Showing up, holding space, active listening, celebrating wins. The kind of love that doesn't make a lot of noise but means everything to the person on the receiving end.
Also "sending cute memes" and "BIG NEVER LET GO HUGS" because balance is important.
How do you show love? Drop it in the comments.

This week's question: What is your superpower? π¦Έ
Empathy showed up more than once, which tracks for this community. We're loving the balance of light hearted and profound answers.
"Picking the perfect size Tupperware for leftovers" is in fact a superpower and we will not be taking questions.
What's yours? Drop it in the comments if you haven't made it to the board yet.

This week's question hit different π
"What is one thing you like about yourself?"
The answers ranged from "everything" to deeply specific qualities people have worked hard to build. We saw a lot of love for personal growth (physical and mental strength came up multiple times), a lot of gratitude for relationships, and some truly excellent self-awareness about things like work ethic, empathy, and the ability to just keep trying.
Someone wrote "my boldness" and honestly that's the energy we're going for here.
Next week's question is already up. If you haven't answered this one yet, drop it in the comments. What's one thing you like about yourself?

Week one of our locker room question board and you all did not disappoint π
From Lady Gaga to existential dread to Connor Starnes' glutes (honestly fair), your answers to "What inspired you today?" are exactly why this community is unmatched.
This week's question is already up, and we will be adding another board to our men's locker rooms soon so you don't feel left out! Come add your answer, read what inspired someone else, and maybe leave the locker room feeling a little more connected than when you walked in.
That's the whole point anyway.
For anyone that didn't get to write on the board, what inspired you today?

π§ββοΈ Flow Yoga with Faraz (Apr 7th)
Faraz is officially joining the PNW Fitness family and we are celebrating with a free community class on Monday, April 7th!
Here's his origin story: former D1 collegiate distance runner and dedicated weightlifter walks into yoga looking for flexibility and injury prevention. He finds all that AND a practice that rewires how he thinks about movement entirely. Fast forward through 10+ years on the mat and a teaching certification under renowned instructor Ashish Arora, and you've got one of the most thoughtful and genuinely fun instructors we've ever had the pleasure of adding to our schedule.
Oh, and he offers hands-on assists for students who want them. Increasingly rare, genuinely impactful, and a real reflection of how much care he puts into his teaching.
Athletic precision meets good vibes. Built for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Come see what the hype is about! πβ¨

πFINAL DAYS TO HELP OUR GIVING TREE π
Time is running out to make a difference!
Our Friends of Youth Giving Tree effort has just a few days left, and there are still young people in our community waiting for someone to grab their tag.
These aren't just any kids, they're teens in foster care, young adults experiencing homelessness, and youth working through some of life's toughest challenges. For many of them, this will be the only gift they receive this holiday season.
But here's the thing: one tag, one gift, one act of kindness can change so much.
Here's how it works:
- Grab a tag from the Giving Tree at our front desk
- Purchase the gift (most items are simple; warm clothes, school supplies, personal care items)
- Return it unwrapped by Dec 15th
Friends of Youth will make sure it gets to the right young person in time for the holidays.
Can't make it in? They also have Amazon wish lists available at https://www.friendsofyouth.org/givingtree
If you've been thinking about participating, now's the time. These young people deserve to feel seen, valued, and cared for this season. Let's show them their community has their back.
Thank you for being the kind of people who care ππ
