Highline High School Cross Country

Coaches Ullmer, Stolz and Post at today's Steilacoom 4 on the 4th!! And not forgetting Theo and Linea Ullmer as well!!

The Pirates ran well today at the district meet. No qualifications for state, but lots of good experience and good times!!

Congratz to Seniors Brian and Carlos and Junior Tehrehl for qualifying for next week's District meet at today's league meet!! Way to go Pirates!!

Lady Pirates place 3rd at the Kingo 2A League XC meet and qualify as a team for next week's District meet!! Diana and Valentines earned all-league honors for placing 14th or better.. Way to go girls!!

Yesterday coach Stolz and I traveled to Oregon to see HHS XC legend Makenna Cowan run in her final collegiate cross country meet. She pr'd in the 6k and ran a fantastic race. Way to go Makenna!!!!

Some great races and PR's today at the Hole in the Wall invite. And donuts!!

Back at the Twilight Invite for the first time in 730 days. Some great times, PR's, costumes and Dick's burgers!!

On our way back to the Tahoma Coed Relays!! All the runners are laying down getting some rest before the mee!!

Cross Country 2021 begins tomorrow!! We are back to having a regular full fall season with invites and a post-season. Practice is tomorrow @ 2:30 at Boris the tree in Moshier Field.

We had our final meet of the season today - a full 5k at North SeaTac Park in Great weather. All the Pirates ran their hardest and finished their races and their season with nothing left in the gas tank. Brandon earned the coveted red letterman's sweatshirt in his final 5k race of his great HHS XC career - way to go Brandon!! We wish our three seniors - Brandon, Marcus and Mathew, all the success and happiness that the future could possibly hold for them - thanks for all of your hard work and dedication!! Thanks for a great year to all of our runners and the friends and families that supported them. Fall 2021 HHS XC starts on August 23rd!!

Great meet today at Renton!! Sarah finished in first place and Katie in 3rd place for the girls and Brandon finished in 2nd place for the boys!! Way to go Pirates!!
