Plot twist: We train men too! 😄

Kevin joined MBodied with his wife, and thankfully, a room full of strong women didn’t scare him away.

He wanted more from personal training than endless bench presses and bicep curls. He wanted to understand his body, move better, and build strength that actually supports his life.

A year and a half later, he’s still here, still getting stronger, and still happily sharing the studio with some seriously strong women. 💪

We’re so happy you and your wife landed here, Kevin! 🧡

Okay, friends. It’s time to put those reps to work for something bigger! 💪

This September, we’re partnering with ZGiRLS for REPS FOR HER, a monthlong challenge supporting teenage girls as they build confidence through athletics, mentorship, and community.

Choose a goal that feels exciting to you. Train for a 5K. Take a daily walk. Get stronger. Dance in your kitchen. Just pick something and show up for it!

Every rep counts, and yes, your kitchen dance moves absolutely count. 😉

Let’s move, have some fun, and help the next generation of girls believe in just how capable they are. 🧡

✨ Stay tuned for details on how to join!

When you are used to being the responsible one, asking for help can feel harder (and take more time) than simply doing it yourself.

Our latest guest blog from personal transformation coach EarthSong explores 𝘩𝘺𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. EarthSong offers some small actions that can help you rebuild self trust without overwhelming yourself.

Save this. Then head to the link in our bio to read the full guest blog. 👆🧡

Community will either make your goals soar, or it will drag them down. It really depends on if it’s the right community for you, or if you need to keep looking.

You want people who cheer when you squat deeper, lovingly hand you a heavier dumbbell, and still remember to ask how your vacation went.

Basically, find the people who make you want to keep coming back. Because when you do, it works like magic.🧡

You never really know what message you’re going to get when you walk through our door. 😂

But this one feels pretty accurate.

We want MBodied to be a place where you can work hard, complain about the work (or your job, if that's what you need), laugh a lot, and be fully yourself while you’re doing it.

A little strength. A little weirdness. A lot of good people.

Please be too much. We like you that way. 🧡

"If you really wanted it, you’d be motivated enough to do it on your own."
I don’t buy that.

We’re humans. We do better with other humans. 😂

Having someone who notices your progress, checks in when you’ve had a rough week, or simply makes you laugh while you’re doing something hard; those things can change your entire relationship with training.

Don't underestimate how valuable that is.

You’re the one building the strength, but the people around you can make the process a whole lot better. 🧡

Tag the person who makes showing up a little easier for you.

A lot of us have learned that asking for support meant we looked like we couldn’t handle things ourselves.

Let's challenge that:

Getting help doesn’t make the work any less yours. You’re still the one showing up, learning, practicing, and getting stronger.
You just have someone in your corner while you do it.

And when you keep asking for help and showing up? Others realize they can lean on others, and THAT'S how we change the world.

On the days when things feel harder than usual, having the right people around you can be the difference between giving up and giving yourself another chance.

There’s strength in letting yourself be supported, too. 🧡

I talk about lifting heavy A LOT. And I stand by it. 🧡

But “lift heavy” does not mean grabbing the heaviest thing you can find and hoping for the best.

Heavy is relative.

If you’re dealing with pain, unsure about your technique, or simply haven’t built the strength for heavier loads yet, your starting point is going to look different. And that’s exactly where you should start.

The goal isn’t to prove something every time you pick up a weight.
The goal is to build a body that can handle more over time.
And if something hurts? You don’t get extra credit for suffering through it. There are people who can help you figure out what’s going on and get you moving forward again.

Start where you are. Build from there. The heavy stuff can come later. 🧡

Ever get that weird tingling, tension, or aching sensation in your arm or hand?
Your first instinct might be to stretch the area, but sometimes the muscle isn’t the thing asking for attention.
Your nerves need room to move too.

And nerves don’t like stretching. They prefer to be FLOSSED.

Nerve flossing (or gliding) is one of those mobility tools that looks a little funny (and feels like you’re not doing anything), but leaves an area feeling free and relaxed.

Try this radial nerve floss and see how your body responds. 🧡
And yes, regular flossing is still encouraged. 😂

When we talk about getting stronger, it’s easy to think about squats, deadlifts, or how much weight is on the bar.

But some of the best measures of strength are much less exciting. 😂
Can you get down on the floor and back up again? Can you carry your groceries without thinking twice? Can you move through your day feeling capable and confident in your body?

Those everyday things matter.

Because the goal isn’t just to be strong during your workout. It’s to build a body that keeps showing up for your life.

That’s the kind of strength we care about at MBodied.🧡
