Learn practical navigation skills and have fun doing it-- FIND YOUR ADVENTURE! Plan wisely-- or lose points for every minute you're late!

Fifty checkpoints are marked on a map, each checkpoint with a different point value. Using only map, compass, wits, and teamwork-- how many can you find within the time limit? You can treat it as an educational and adventurous hike, or decide to test the limits of your skill and endurance-- it's up to you! Nav events are for hikers and runners alike; common time limits are 4, 7, 10, or 24-hours.

We love Middle Fork!

🪶Get to know an exciting array of mammals, birds, and amphibians that call the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley home during a free Wildlife Walk with Conservation Northwest and the Greenway Trust.

You’ll be guided through the Oxbow Loop Trail, a 1.8-mile-long loop that meanders around one of the most ecologically diverse rivers in King County in an area that has been transformed over the past 30 years into a model of sustainable recreation and ecological care.

This trail is just 40 miles from downtown Seattle, offering a rare blend of wilderness and easy access within the heart of the Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage Area. It was constructed in 2018 and 2019 by the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust in partnership with the Washington Department of Natural Resources. Here, rivers, forests, and mountain views come together in a place where people of all ages and abilities can connect with nature.

THIS SATURDAY is a holiday favorite - Street Scramble at the Market!

Street Scramble at the Market is 2 hours and on-foot only (no 3-hour or bike option), so the course is especially compact. Expect to be able to visit a bunch of checkpoints in a relatively short distance! Also, in the spirit of giving, half of the proceeds go to The Pike Place Market Foundation, which provides vital services to elderly and low-income residents of downtown and welcomes us back each year to Pike Place Market.
