Seattle Gymnastics Academy - Ballard A 22,000 square foot gymnastics facility offering classes for all ages, genders and abilities.

At Seattle Gymnastics Academy, we nurture the physical and emotional growth of our gymnasts by enhancing their strengths, helping them overcome challenges, and tailoring instruction to each individual's learning style. We offer recreational and team gymnastics for toddlers through teens. Our Strength, Skill and Character focus promotes a positive and supportive environment, while instilling the importance of turning mistakes into steps for success. "Pick yourself up, make a correction, and try again" is our motto.

Some of us (🙋🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️) may still be sad that summer is over, but as the days get shorter and colder, that means we have one great thing to look forward to: Winter Camp!

Accessible, fun and exciting, with beginner-friendly gymnastics, games, crafts, new friends and more. Come to as many or as few days as you want and fit your schedule.

Two new birthday party slots added to the lineup: Sundays, 3:30-5pm & 5:45-7:15pm, now through December! (5:45 is even still available for THIS coming Sunday!)

A completely unique, fun and weather-proof party for you and up to 14 friends! One hour of super fun gym time plus 30 minutes in our party space - we do the set up and clean up - all for $375!

Still on a major high from last weekend’s SGA University!! More to share about our weekend soon but in the meantime, here’s some highlights from the Sunday clinics at SGA Ballard. This was our second day of University when some of our gymnasts volunteered to participate in hands-on coaching clinics with our guest expert presenters, to put into practice some of the insights we learned the day before. Thank you so much to our athletes (and their families!) for participating, we learned so much and our cups are so full! 💙💚

A reminder we are closed for all classes and activities on Saturday, September 19, for our annual SGA University staff development day.

Each year, Seattle Gymnastics Academy brings together our entire staff along with leading gymnastics experts from across the country for SGA University — our annual professional development weekend.

This special event is filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Coaches dive into hands-on training, skill progressions, spotting techniques, and athlete development strategies, while also exploring important topics like child development, stress management, and leadership, and our Member Services Team attends seminars around organizational development, and customer service skills and strategies.

For our families, events like SGA University mean that your child’s coaches are not just passionate about gymnastics — they’re continually learning, improving, and striving to provide the highest-quality experience possible. From preschoolers taking their first class to advanced athletes training for competition, every child benefits from the expertise and energy our coaches bring back from this event.

At SGA, we believe continuing education is essential in our pursuit of providing the highest quality instruction we can, and also for cultivating staff who are engaged in continual growth for themselves and their careers – wherever they go in life.
