Previously, we took a vote on where we all should go the day after Christmas: Disneyland or Universal Studios. Apparently, most of the family voted Universal and that’s where we went. It was a buck load of fun to revisit some of the rides of old and see the updates of the amusement park, and Super Nintendo World was no exception.
But my favorite of the many was the Transformers: The Ride because the movies are one of my BIGGEST guilty pleasure and getting a picture with Optimus and Bumblebee was one of the biggest highlights of my time here.
One thing I hope for the amusement park is that they create a Wicked-themed ride or theatre as it is one of those films that I like much more than I’m willing to admit.
This is my second to last post to complete the year, and then the year in review slideshow with your usual Linkin Park song. Of all the days had during our Christmas family reunion, our time at the Universal Studios @ Hollywood was the most eventful of them all.

Christmas Day has officially arrived once again. A wholesome time for family and fun. Joy, jubilation, and generosity. All of the deep aspects that can be found and felt in the Holiday Season, I embrace the truth of that all the more when I’m around family and friends and when I acknowledge the birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Humanity couldn’t receive for a better gift than that.
With deep gratitude and commitment to the Holiday Season, I bid everyone a Merry Bless’d Christmas, a Happy New Year, and May God Bless Us Everyone.

Greetings Programs and Users!

What you’re seeing here is the epic art design of a shirt that I purchased several months ago. Couldn’t wait to show it to you guys but I had to for the opportune moment to post it. And what better day to post it than the day of this wonderful film’s release. As someone who takes his commemorations very seriously, I’m honored to have this attire in my possession. And I will be wearing this all day today on December 17th 2024, the 14th Anniversary of TRON: Legacy.

I also want to give an honorable mention to Spider-Man: No Way Home for transcending 3 Years. If the time is convenient for me, hopefully I’ll be able to watch that as well because Spider-Man is one of my all-time favorites overall, and to see all three of them in a single movie together is an unforgettable experience. With that being said, the best of this day, as usual, will be dedicated to TRON: Legacy. To 14 Years of TRON: Legacy & 3 Years of Spider-Man: No Way Home. 🥂

Today is my youngest brother’s 22nd Birthday. For some strange reason, he hardly looks any different from when he was much younger. He’s as sweet and lighthearted as he looks and someone I genuinely love to be around. I do everything in my power to the best of my ability to make sure that my time with Joshua is happy fun times.
I remember those days like it was yesterday where we would always watch movies and tv, constantly re-enacting our favorite characters and goofing around like there was no tomorrow. Now he’s maturing year-after-year and I couldn’t be more blessed to see him grow and come as far as 22.
I pray to dear God Himself that I get to see more of his birthdays to come. And I’ll be waiting for more happy fun times in the meantime. Today is to my beloved baby brother, Joshua Jermaine Simpson! Happy 22nd Birthday and Many More Along The Way!

If there’s one thing to add to the things I’m thankful for, it’s a Cowboys win AT HOME. (Finally! Gosh-Dameron!) That’s Two consecutive Ws in a week.

Happy Thanksgiving, Lads!

Another November 27th is alive once more. That’s means it is time for yet another commemoration to one of Disney’s greatest stories let alone adaptation ever told. Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s Greatest Adventure, ‘Treasure Island’.

22 Years Ago, Disney has blessed us with the glorious yet underappreciated masterpiece that is Treasure Planet.

Not I’m not gonna lie, this isn’t one of my most proudest of edits, but with everything that is on my plate as far as moving from Seattle to California, I had to come up with something quick, and a black hole with the Jolly Rogers Insignia was what I came up with. Along with a render of Jim riding his surfer.

I’m beyond grateful and blessed that I get to see another Nov. 27th because celebrating the anniversary of my favorites is one of the most fun things I get to do. The Anniversary of Treasure Planet is definitely no exception because watching the movie and revisiting let alone reminding yourself of why you love the movie so much feels like a breath of fresh air. As if I was Jim Hawkins myself riding high in the atmosphere with my solar surfer. The first thing that drew to the film when I first saw that epic teaser trailer when I was 5 years old in 2002.

At that point after the movie changed my life in ways that not many other Disney could for me like it did others. It was all so overwhelming that I had to draw lots of pictures just to express it. And like the many pictures that I drew of Atlantis during its time, I drew a lot of pictures of Treasure Planet during its time.

And it warms me soul to grow up knowing that 22 Years Later, many still share the same opinion that Treasure Planet deserves so much more. That’s why I don’t focus too much on things like Star Wars or Spider-Man because as much as I LOVE those films, I enjoy bringing light to the underrated stuff at there. And Treasure Planet is a film that needs a lot of love and lot more recognition from the corporation that gave it the green light. Something I intend to keep on for many November 27th days to come.

And with all of that said, I officially bid Treasure Planet a bless’d Happy 22nd Anniversary!

It’s no coincidence that every Mothers Day and Father’s Day is always celebrated on one Sunday of every year. Sunday, the first day of the week is often recognized as the Lord’s day of the week. And family met with the parenthood of one’s young, I find to one of the most if not the most commendable before the Lord. And what good way to acknowledge that by bringing light to one’s beloved father on Father’s Day. Which is exactly what this post is about. The love, care, discipline, the hilarity, the hard work, and the faithfulness of it all are amazing virtues that can be found in a father based on my experience. My own Dad embodies these things immensely. I observe these things because someday, I hold on to the hope of being a dad myself and I would like to play a role in being fruitful to a family of my own. And as far as family and raising said family goes, I look to my own dad as a role model, influence, and a mirror of how I wish to do so. I couldn’t possibly be anymore grateful and humble to be blessed with a dad as awesome as Squire Jermaine Simpson. From time to you, , Happy 27th Father’s Day. Love you very much and GOD Bless.

Wassup my peoples? How y’all doin on this fine Friday? Squire’s back from a galaxy far far away and I’m here promote another single that was created by none other than music artist herself, . Her latest song, as you can by the cover I designed, is called, WIN! It’s a song that is dedicated to those go about life with a triumphant mindset. Not necessarily in the context of competition but in the context of various trials that we face day in and day out and how the Lord not only helps us overcome whatever those trials are on a daily basis, but reminds us that in Christ is when we truly victorious. Victorious in our emotions, mentality, and in spirit. The world will always be out to get you and make it seem like the life that you live or try to live is a losing battle. That feeling of a losing battle is common, but it is temporary and merely a fleeting distraction at the heat of every negative moment in this life, but the victory in Christ Jesus will remain and transcend 10,000 years and forevermore. In this life and the next. Ultimately, that’s what I got out of it, and hopefully, prayerfully, this song will reach out to those who are open to the truth and the salvation of Jesus and the sense of victory that he generously provides. He won against sin and death, and through Him, we too can win against and death. Our victory, our championship is obtained not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit and nothing that the world can throw at us will prosper and prevail. And that’s all I have to say about that. That said, do give the song a listen. You can find it on Yolanda Simpson’s Spotify and ITunes. Love you all, Happy Release, Happy Friday & God Bless!

What is up, my peoples!? How are y’all doin? Well it is about that time of the year again. The 19th of May has finally arrived and it’s time to show some love to the awesome projects that came out on this fine personal holiday of mine.
Today, based on the countdown we have the 25th Anniversary of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the 24th Anniversary of Disney’s Dinosaur, the 19th Anniversary of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and last but not least, the 7th Anniversary Linkin Park’s seventh and final studio record, One More Light with its album-titular song now held as tribute to Chris Cornell who sadly passed away a day earlier.
What continues to make this day so special for me is the contents from certain parts of the entertainment and music industry that left a massive impact on my childhood and even my road to fully-realized adulthood. Star Wars is my most favorite content, especially the prequel content, Dinosaur is one of my favorite animated movies of all time amongst my beloved trinity, and Linkin Park as many of you know by now is my favorite band forever. And for much of those projects to have been birthed on this day is what makes May 19th a significant multi-commemoration day for such.
However, today’s MVP goes to Star Wars Episode I for being the first medium halfway into 30 re-released in theaters.
That said, thanks to Linkin Park’s OML cover, I decided to make warm beach sunsets with adolescent silhouettes my overall backgrounds for the holiday. Also for the May 19th theme going forward, I will include, now and forevermore, the rainbow of warm colors such as Golden Yellow for Episode I, Bronze Orange for Dinosaur, Crimson Red for Episode III, and Peachy Pink for One More Light. The same way I did for the countdown on my IG story.
And finally, if you made it this far, let me take the time to say that you look all awesome and I hope that wherever you are and whatever it you’re doing, I hope you have a fantastic May 19th whether you’re acknowledging it’s beloved projects or not. Again, y’all look fantastic and I hope you know that.
God Bless and R.I.P. Chris and Chester.

This weekend has been fantastic. From being overtaken in complete awe by the aurora borealis aka the Northern Lights, to the acknowledgement of my beloved Mom on her special day, Mothers Day. And what better way than to close it off on a wonderful clear sky-having Mother’s Day with reasonable temperature. I said a prayer with my Mom before our breakfast meal about how not every day is promised and how thankful I am to still be here and that my Mom is still here as well. Words can hardly describe how important you are and how impactful she’s been in my life. However, it must be thought and it must be said or written as a way to express my appreciation for her and her incredible motherhood.

Happy Mother’s Day, Yolanda Simpson! Love u so much. It was such an honor having breakfast with you.

On behalf of May 4th and the Star Wars Marathon! I’m present to y’all…more high school throwbacks in honor of my favorite franchise of all time. At least before Disney happened. But nevertheless, I hope y’all have an amazing Star Wars Day! May The 4th Be With You All!
