I went out of town this week to Spokane for memorial which was really emotional but I got to be in a gym again which felt great! This month I want to engage more and reach out to people in my network to build a community for wellness and fitness!

Feeling stronger everyday because I’m taking time to fully rest and rejuvenate myself. I could barely walk after surgery, so I’ve made a recovery program for myself to heal. The following are some things I do to keep going.
🍵 I drink green tea everyday instead of coffee. It’s helped a lot with my energy level in the morning and it’s gentle on the tummy.
🏝 I take daily walks to the beach which I love.
I’m making small choices that create good habits again. Invest in yourself and your health. Ask for help when you want or need support. Taking my own advice. Happy May! I wish you happiness and health.

It’s so sunny and beautiful today in Seattle! Spring is right around the corner. These pretty yellow daffodils are the first sign of springtime and reminds me of good days. I can’t wait for tomorrow because it’s my birthday, yay!🎂🌼 #27

This winter, I’ve incorporated more fruits and vegetables to my meals. This winter, I’m restoring my body by tuning in to my needs. Mindful eating has been very helpful which is essentially paying attention to your food without judgement, like the colors of lemons and how bright and sour they are. I enjoy lemons because they taste good, provide anti-inflammatory benefits and support the lymphatic system or immune system. Learning more about fruits and vegetables will help you discover so much more about your body’s needs!🍋
