We climbed over 4,200 feet and camped in tents at 9,407 feet last night …pouring rain, howling wind, and some incredible stars! On top of that, we didn’t always know the way and had to figure it out as we went — frustrating for a lot of folks not knowing exactly what the plan was. But it was a tough day out there, and every single person on this trip pushed through it. Sometimes it really does just come down to putting one foot in front of the other.
Along the way we passed through gorgeous larch and pine forest in Chong Kemin National Park and crossed the Chong Kemin River. So proud of this group — amazing what we are all capable of when we push through discomfort. There is something about being here- nature as the teacher, not knowing the way as part of the path, and the discomfort as practice, not something to avoid.
More adventures ahead... 🥾⛰️
