We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Herb Millro Classic, scheduled for June 20-21 at Lower Woodland Park. This is an “in-house” tournament, meaning it is specifically focused on STA members, and covers all skill levels, from D to Open with both singles and doubles at each level. We have all Lower Woodland courts reserved right now and are planning an exciting weekend as we celebrate the start of summer (officially starts that Sunday).

While this tournament does not count for GLTA points, we run it like a normal tournament to provide competition experience, lots of time on court, camaraderie with our members, and trophies for winners/runners-up for each event. You can view photos from the 2024 Herb Millro tournament here.

Tournament registration starts on Tuesday, April 21 at 7PM (PDT). Sign up on the GLTA website on the
2026 Herb Millro Tournament Page. Click on the “View Regulations” link on the main page to see all tournament details. Cost for one event is $55 and two events is $70.

Some of the events will likely fill up quickly, so please register soon if you are interested. The draws are marked with size limits, but we will try to expand if possible, and you should sign up for waitlisting if you don’t make it before we reach capacity. If we have events with low registrations, we will try to set up those draws with either round-robin or double elimination to maximize time on court. Otherwise the singles events will have consolation draws for those eliminated in the first round.

Spring season is officially underway, and we want to celebrate with you! Come meet other LGBTQ+ tennis players, and catch up with some familiar faces for drinks at Madison Pub. Both members and non-members are welcome. Pizza will be provided by STA.
