On Tuesday, June 9, our guest luncheon speaker is Randi Hedin from Heifer International, a nonprofit organization working to end poverty and hunger through agriculture. As a board member and former board chair of Heifer, Hedin has focused her efforts on helping smallholder farmers, including women entrepreneurs and community leaders, to achieve a sustainable income. She also encourages student partnerships. Join us!

The Rotary Club of West Seattle offers three different college scholarships every year to qualified students: the Student of the Year scholarship, the Gambriell Scholarship and the Past Presidents’ Scholarship. Come to our June 2 meeting to meet the recipients and be prepared to be blown away!

The Club Rotario Barillas presented our Guatemala team with new Rotary International shirts during our
meeting with them on Thursday. They discussed their significant project RACHEL efforts in Barilllas and we showcased our water tank project in the local village of Blanca Flor.
