courage. community. climbing. Now in its 15th year, Girls Rock! is a 10-week afterschool mentoring and rock climbing program for girls ages 11-14. Girls Rock!
With an adult volunteer mentor, girls create a diverse, supportive community through leadership, service and rock climbing. We use climbing as a metaphor and vehicle to inspire courage and leadership. began in 1997 as part of the independent non-profit Passages Northwest, which has since merged to become part of the Metrocenter YMCA of Greater Seattle. Outdoor weekend adventure!! Exploring outside. Icicle underground cities!
GIRLS ROCK ON! has started! We'll be hitting the gym for the next 10 weeks! This weekend on our outdoor weekend we will be designing our very own Girls Rock T-shirts and screen printing them at KTUB. Pictures to come!

Another amazing session of Girls Rock! has come to a close. What an awesome time! A big thank you to all the Girls, Mentors, Kendra Girls Rock Coordinator, Fallon Program Assistant, and everyone else who supported this session! You Rock!
