Cat pose can be one of the best poses for releasing tension from your low back and allowing your spine to stretch — even more relevant when you're expecting a little one.

Step 1: Get in position on all fours. Hips aligned over knees, feet hip distance apart. Shoulders over wrists, fingers spread evenly. Flat back.

Step 2: As you exhale engage your core, round though your back, tuck tailbone and draw chin to chest. Enjoy this stretch as long as you need.

Step 3: With an inhale return to a flat back, return gaze ahead.

Lets take about Goddess Pose.

This powerful pose builds endurance, strength, and focus and prepares you for your labor journey ahead. Holding for one minute mimics an average length of contraction in labor so get those stop watches ready and lets go!

Step 1: Stand with your legs wide, turn your heels in and toes out and make sure your knees are tracking in the same direction as your toes.

Step 2: Inhale hands overhead and sink your hips as low as your knees.

Step 3: Breathe. It might be helpful to close your eyes, place a hand on your belly and relax into the pose.
