The field is a mess, so we’re cancelling afternoon practice tomorrow. We’ll stick with batting practice at Sound Baseball from 10-11am and then see if we can take some infield practice depending on the weather. Fingers crossed for no rain! 🤞

A few members asked about club gear, so we set up a simple store where anyone can grab Seattle Play Catch Club items whenever they want — no bulk orders, no waiting for someone to bring a box to the field.

Inside the store you’ll find caps, shirts, and other gear featuring the Play Catch mascot and club designs. Something to wear to practice, to the scrimmage, or just around town when you feel like representing the club.

The fun part: you can customize many of the items yourself.
You can start from the original design and tweak it — add your own text or adjust the style to make your own version of the Seattle Play Catch Club gear.

If you want to change the base color, there’s a simple trick:
Add the item to your cart first, then open the product page again from there. On that page you’ll be able to select different base colors and continue customizing.

Of course, gear is optional. Seattle Play Catch Club has always been about showing up with a glove, throwing a ball, and enjoying baseball together. But if you want something fun to wear that connects us a little more as a crew, the team store is now there.

PlayCatch Club – Practice Cancelled Today

Good news: the sky might actually behave today.
Bad news: the field is still basically a giant sponge after this week’s rain.

If we tried to play, every ground ball would stop halfway, every slide would become a mud commercial, and someone would probably lose a cleat.

So for the safety of the field, the gear, and everyone’s dignity, we’re calling today’s practice.

Let the field dry out a bit and we’ll be back soon. Bring the same energy next time. ⚾️
