This year I’m devoting myself to myself!
Things don’t always work out how we plan them, I’m fact most of the time it format work they way we plan.
In cases where s**t hits the fan, it’s our resilience, and how we handle the emotional state of that which determines what direction we go next.
Not all the plans of 2022 have been how I imagined, but they’ve made the start of 2023 PERFECT!
Not perfect like the plan, but perfect for who I want to be in the future.
Taking this opportunity to clean the things that have held me back from being myself, and taking the risk to SHINE.
I vow this year to create the most enjoyable content and the most enjoyable life to live, for myself.
I hope that you all connect to the messages I have to share. And I hope you also are casting votes to become the version of yourself that you truly wish you were.
You have the power to become that person. Let go of what you thing everyone else wants you to be, and start being your SELF!

Adventure Awaits… Are You Gonna Take The Call?

When it comes to setting boundaries, many people just don’t.
What I mean is this…
We get so used to allowing authority figures, friends, loved ones, coaches and coworkers to all use us because somewhere along our journey we started finding our self-worth hindering on the acceptance of those people.
Over time we stop feeling valued by them because it’s “never enough” and we get burned out.
Unfortunately the fear of rejection sets in when we think about standing up for ourselves so we remain trapped in the same cycle of getting used in hopes that it makes us feel worth.
When we feel we are adding value, we feel worth, however, this type of worth is depended on someone else, and not from within us. This keeps us in the cycle and behavior of letting people walk on us.
Eventually, you let people use you so much, that you then don’t feel worth or value at all.
As a secondary, you stop trusting yourself. And you feel you deserve to be in the bad cycle.
The good news…
Breaking this cycle is easier than you may think!

You may not know what the entire path looks like, however, you’ll always be able the see the next step. So take it one step at a time, and one day you’ll look back and see how far you came, and what you accomplished. If you’re having trouble finding your first step, start by being present, let go of the past, let go of the future, and focus on the present moment. It will reveal your next step. And then the next… and the next… pleasant journey my friends!

Performance anxiety was something that plagued me during my wrestling days. It wasn’t until my time at CSU that I decided I wasn’t going to lose to anyone, and so I didn’t. But then I picked up board sports at the age of 30 and quickly progressed to new and scary tricks. After taking some hard falls, and injuries, I started to get hesitant.
But dynamic tapping got me out of my head and focused on being in my ZONE when I’m on the water! I’m now free to really enjoy progressing on the wakeboard. I finally have that mental edge, and I want to share it with you!
