While we didn’t get the results we were looking for, we had an incredible time in Boston at the USGAA FINALS | BOSTON 2026. For the second year in a row, we sent teams in all 4 codes to compete against teams across the country. Thanks to all of our members (and especially our huge class of new members) who put in the hard work all year to help us get to this point. We’ll be back next year with a determination to bring some hardware back to Seattle!

We’re still recovering from an incredible week in Waterford at the World GAA! 🇮🇪🇮🇪

Our camogs Northwest Camogie Collective played hard all week earning a fantastic 2nd-place finish in Camogie Division 2. 🥈

Hurling also battled all week, finishing 6–3 and coming up just one point short in a heartbreaking semifinal.

We’re leaving Ireland with plenty of lessons learned, great memories, and even more motivation as we turn our attention to the USGAA Finals in Boston in just three weeks, where all four codes will be competing.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this trip possible—our players, coaches, supporters, volunteers, families, and the organizers who put together such an incredible event.

Quite a few of the Gaels are over in Ireland this week for the GAA World Games in Waterford. We sent a full team of Gaels for Hurling and combined with other Camogie players around the PNW (Northwest Camogie Collective) for what is sure to be a week full of excellent games and loads of craic! Check out the schedule for the week here, and we’ll be sure to post highlights as the week goes along!

The Gorge Cup is just around the corner, happening next weekend in Corvallis, OR. Hope to see you there!

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Cascade Cup a resounding success this past weekend! We won the trophies in Men’s Gaelic Football and Hurling, while took home the Ladies’ Gaelic Football trophy, and a combination of and won in Camogie!

The rain held off for the most part, and a great time was had by all on and off the field! Up the Gaels!

The Cascade Cup is nearly here! This weekend we’ll be hosting teams from all across the USGAA Northwest Division – with Nationals implications in our Gaelic football matches. We’ll be playing at the upper fields at Magnuson Park starting at 10:00 a.m.

For afters, we’ll be going to Murphy’s Pub in Wallingford!

An incredible time down in Lacey for the annual Grit City 7’s Tournament to kick off the season. Thanks to the for hosting and for everyone involved in setting up a great tournament. Another huge shout out to all the new Seattle Gaels members who made the trip down and played in a tournament for the first time!

Great training today as we managed to avoid the rain! With 3 rookies showing out and a handful of veterans it was a great start to the 2026 Season!
