Meet Seattle Whales’ prospect Ruslan Arkhipov. The offensively talented defenseman is known for his slick puck skills and great shot. He is growing in his defensive awareness, but has developed tremendous skills in the D zone with his shot blocking and stick checking being 87 and 86 respectively. Arkhipov is performing well in the AHL, patrolling the top unit collecting 3 goals and 9 assists throughout 20 contests. Does Arkhipov challenge for a roster spot on the Whales next season?
