WOMEN’S EIGHT

Nina Castagna ’22+1 🇺🇸, Jess Thoennes ’18 🇺🇸, and Megan Lee ’25 🇺🇸 secure a BRONZE medal in Final A of the Women’s Eight with a time of 5:53.76!

Sally Jones ’25 🇨🇦 finishes fifth overall in the Women’s Eight, with Ella Cossill ’22+1 🇳🇿 and Olivia Hay ’25 🇳🇿 finishing sixth overall.

Tabea Schendekehl ‘20 + 1 🇩🇪 finishes third in Final B, securing ninth overall.

MIXED EIGHT

Teal Cohen ’21+1 🇺🇸 with USA earns BRONZE in the Mixed Eight final, less than 0.2 seconds from silver.

MIXED DOUBLE SCULLS (MIX2x)
Simon van Dorp ‘20 🇳🇱 Netherlands, is a DOUBLE WORLD CHAMPION. He and Roos de Jong won the A final by more than six seconds, forty-eight hours after he took gold in the men’s double.

MEN’S EIGHT (M8+)
Archie Drummond ‘25 🇬🇧 Great Britain, took SILVER in the closest race of the regatta, six hundredths of a second behind the Netherlands.

Nick Dunlop ‘25 🇦🇺 Australia, led Australia to BRONZE!

Madison Molitor ‘19 🇺🇸 USA, finished fifth in the A final!

Harry Fitzpatrick ‘25 🇳🇿 New Zealand, was second in the B final to end the week eighth in the world!

Povilas Juskevicius ‘26 🇱🇹 Lithuania, was third in the B final, ninth in the world!

MIXED EIGHT (MIX8+)
Gert-Jan van Doorn ‘21 🇳🇱 Netherlands, added SILVER to close out his championship with two.

Chris Carlson ‘19 🇺🇸 USA and Pieter Quinton ‘21 🇺🇸 USA, took BRONZE, nineteen hundredths behind van Doorn’s Dutch crew.

2026 World Rowing Championships Day 6 Recap 🏆

WOMEN’S FOUR

Teal Cohen ’21+1 🇺🇸 wins GOLD in the Women’s 4- with a new WORLD BEST TIME of 6:09.87, becoming a back-to-back world champion in this event.

Angharad Broughton ’23+1 🇬🇧 finishes fifth overall in Final A of the Women’s 4-.

Emma Waters ’25 🇮🇪 secures first in Final B, landing her a 7th overall finish. Ella Cossill ’22+1 🇳🇿 follows right behind with a second place finish in Final B, landing her 8th overall.

WOMEN’S QUADRUPLE SCULLS

Evan Park ’25 🇺🇸 earns BRONZE in the Women’s Quadruple Sculls, ending a great run of her first senior world championships.

Marilou Duvernay-Tardif ’25 🇨🇦 finishes fifth in Final B, landing her an 11th overall finish.

WOMEN’S EIGHT

Sally Jones ’25 🇨🇦  finishes second in Heat 1 of the Women’s Eight, securing her a spot in Final A. Tabea Schendekehl ‘20 + 1 🇩🇪 finishes fourth in Heat 1, narrowly missing Final A.

Nina Castagna ’22+1 🇺🇸, Jess Thoennes ’18 🇺🇸, and Megan Lee ’25 🇺🇸 secure a first place finish in Heat 2 of the Women’s Eight, placing them in Final A. Ella Cossill ’22+1 🇳🇿 and Olivia Hay ’25 🇳🇿 finish fourth in the same heat, with a qualifying time that puts them in Final A tomorrow as well.

Chris Carlson ‘19 🇺🇸 USA and Pieter Quinton ‘21 🇺🇸 USA, are WORLD CHAMPIONS. They pushed through the field and held off the Netherlands for gold.

Gert-Jan van Doorn ‘21 🇳🇱 Netherlands, took SILVER in that same race, chasing his old teammates to the line.

Harry Fitzpatrick ‘25 🇳🇿 New Zealand, finished sixth in the A final to end the week sixth in the world!

MEN’S QUADRUPLE SCULLS (M4x)
Ben Davison ‘18 🇺🇸 USA, raced the A final and closes his championship sixth in the world!

MEN’S EIGHT (M8+)
Archie Drummond ‘25 🇬🇧 Great Britain, won his heat in the fastest time of the round.

Madison Molitor ‘19 🇺🇸 USA, won his heat by two tenths of a second over Australia.

Nick Dunlop ‘25 🇦🇺 Australia, Harry Fitzpatrick ‘25 🇳🇿 New Zealand and Povilas Juskevicius ‘26 🇱🇹 Lithuania, came through that same heat. All five Huskies are into Sunday’s semifinals.

Simon van Dorp ‘20 🇳🇱 Netherlands, was back on the water one day after winning the world title in the double and won his heat with Roos de Jong in the fastest time of the round!

Chris Carlson ‘19 🇺🇸 USA and Pieter Quinton ‘21 🇺🇸 USA, won their semifinal in the fastest four of the day.

Gert-Jan van Doorn ‘21 🇳🇱 Netherlands, won the other semifinal and join them in the A final.

Harry Fitzpatrick ‘25 🇳🇿 New Zealand, came third in that same semifinal, making it four Huskies in three different boats in Saturday’s A final.

Steve Rosts ‘21 🇨🇦 Canada, won the C final to place 13th in the world!
