Many Pacific Northwesterners try to stay active all year, but what we’re really doing in the winter is training so that we are ready at a moment’s notice for when our weather clears and we can shed our rain gear😀… Today we had an unexpectedly warm day and we just had to get on the water for an evening paddle. Because we’d been keeping up with our strength over the winter, the paddling felt good, and we were able to enjoy the water views and evening light….. 👉This is your reminder to stay consistent with your training so that you can say yes to physical fun! 😊♥️

When you come to a Pilates class - whether with me live online or in-person with me and my colleagues at Pilates Northwest - you will notice that we are a little obsessed with breathing. ;-)
Done well, breathing can stretch the spaces between the ribs and engage the abdominals, provide support for movement, not to mention help regulate your parasympathetic nervous system.
