Umm 2 weeks out? I have zero concept that I’m competing and zero nerves. Ive been the least focused I’ve ever been on lifting but also have been having the best training? Perhaps this is a lesson to all of us that the less seriously we take ourselves, the better we do and the more fun we have!

Tbh guys the amount of squat depth issues I see that actually aren’t mobility based is ridiculous
If you can’t stay balanced in a squat and control your center of mass, especially the bottom of a squat, you’re going to have trouble hitting depth (and actually completing the squat)
We have tools like squat shoes to help with just this! Knowing what tools you need and using them appropriately and with rationale can be pivotal to helping you consistently hit competition depth in training!

Anna competed at the Alaska Memorial Classic this past weekend and came away with some huge PRs and milestones!!
Super excited to see Anna’s progress as she hasn’t been working one on one with me but with my 8 week templated meet prep! When I say the programming is programming, this is what I mean 🤪
Even with my remote clients who I do not coach directly, I still see the work they put in the gym and in their daily lives. Juggling a move to a new state, school, and just normal life things never makes prepping for a comp easy. So I was so excited to see these numbers up on liftingcast for Anna that day!!
