Dear friends and family around the world,

I know many of you have been following my musical journey these past many years. This journey has led me to meet many incredible human beings. One of these people I met while volunteering to write music with refugees and asylum seekers at the Fedasil Arrival Centre in Brussels. Together with Sarah Van Hove, we wrote many songs, including "I am a word" and "I could be you, you could be me" and "I am the change" and so many more.

I had a wonderful time, substitute teaching recently at the Greenwood Senior Center. Moving so often, it can be challenging to find my feet and feel grounded. Not to mention that challenge of creating community and starting anew each time. Special thanks to my mom's friend, D'vorah, who invited me to cover a couple of her classes. Her students and the staff were just lovely!
