Washington Athletic Club Rugby does not support the updated eligibility policies made in response to the United States Administration’s issuance of Executive Order 14201 around transgender athletes.
Rugby has always been, and will continue to be, an inclusive space. Our support for the rugby community and all its members remains steadfast.

A Special Honor & Duty 🫡
Congratulations to Dennis Munter [Navy] and Nokoni Fogg [Army] who competed with the 2025 United States Military Team in a two-match tour in the United Kingdom. The squad was comprised of active duty and veteran members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. They faced the British Army (L) and the Royal Air Force (W) in a unique collaboration of rugby and ranks.
Thank you both for your service — and for representing us so well wherever the oval ball takes you. 🎖️

We’re at a loss of words for this loss, but we have plenty to say about Zyana.
Joining our program in 2024 as her unapologetically, fierce self - she shared her kind soul and big personality with any and everyone. Packed with contagious energy and diverse skillset, it became apparent that Zyana could go through you, around you, and was always with you – making them the type of teammate you needed and the opposition you never wanted to face.Their presence and impact spanned coast-to-coast, club-to-club, as a respected member of the rugby community. We, as a Club, feel extremely privileged and honored to have had Zyana contribute to our program with their commitment to their teammates, savvy game understanding, and ever-growing potential. Thank you Zyana for taking flight for us. We look forward to keeping your legacy and name alive for years to come. 🕊️💙🪽

Our Women’s Nationals squad went 4-2 across thunder, lightning, and rain against the top teams in the country. They closed out the tournament with their best rugby of the summer fueled by grit and courage to secure some well-earned hardware.
Yet another testament to the program’s depth and unwavering support we get all summer long. Thank you to those in our corner! 🪽
