Join us in welcoming Ryan Lile to Halea! He is teaching regularly on Tuesday at 4 PM, so be sure to swing by and say hello.

Here’s a little about Ryan:
“Ryan has not reached enlightenment, can’t do the splits, and stops at Dick’s for dinner on a weekly basis. He wants you to know that yoga is not an exclusive club and it’s not a religion. And if you don’t like his class he’ll help you find one that fits better. The great thing about yoga is that we’re all just doing our best to find a way to do it that makes us feel at home in our bodies and brains, and he hopes that his class gives you a place to explore what “home” really means to you.

Ryan’s practiced yoga since 2008 when, wind-blown and trench-footed from a winter of dog walking in New York City, he stumbled into a hot yoga studio and begged for a job. He spent the next four years managing from behind the desk and in 2012 he flew to Costa Rica for his yoga teaching certification. He became (and continues to be) inspired by his favorite teachers who were offering vigorous forms of vinyasa like Jivamukti, Laughing Lotus, and Ashtanga-style classes.

Ryan took a three year break from teaching while he built his career in real estate, currently at the member-owned brokerage, Ensemble. As he finds his feet as a teacher again, you can expect some archaic playlists, some stumble-through Sanskrit, and some, “Wait, can I even do this pose anymore?” expressions on his face. But he promises to never tell you how you need to feel, and to always give you enough time in half pigeon.”

End of September means another guided meditation session with Sarah! This event returns once again as an offering for you to move gently, breathe deeply, and be guided into meditation in a safe and supportive space. It’s always a sweet group and experience you won’t want to miss!

Halea Yoga Men’s Group is BACK starting 9/11.
6 sessions. 1 committed group.

We’re inviting a group of guys who are down to grow, and support one another.

This isn’t a lecture or an “alpha” space. It’s experiential, supportive, and practical: breathwork to regulate your nervous system, embodied practices to get out of your head, and structured dialogue that makes it easier to speak truth and listen deeply.

No judgement. Come as you are. Leave feeling better.

A window into what it’s like to walk into Halea Yoga. 👋

And yes, we are this excited to see you! No matter if it’s your 1st class or 100th. 🤩😂

Seattle freeze? We don’t know what that is. 🔥🧊

All staff (no matter tenure or title) welcomes and signs in our students. Could we automate or streamline the process? Totally. But then we’d lose these moments of love and true connection. And… isn’t that the whole point of yoga? 😉🫂
