Saturday delivered a scenic 52-mile ride before we shuttled into Natchez for the night, one of the most storied cities in the South. With the evening free to explore, riders ventured out on their own to discover the restaurants and charm of the Natchez waterfront. A perfect way to celebrate the penultimate day of an incredible journey!
Sunday arrived before we knew it! We wrapped up this amazing BPP adventure with one final 58-mile ride from Natchez back to Rocky Springs. Reversing the route on the last day was a smart logistical move as well, shortening the shuttle to our overnight in Madison, MS before today's drive back to Nashville. And it turned out to be a perfect finish!
Everyone should feel incredibly proud of what they accomplished out here. The Natchez Trace is truly a hidden gem for cyclists and deserves a spot on every rider's bucket list.
As always, it is the people who make these rides so special. We are grateful for the friendships, new and old, that made this journey so memorable. All good things must come to an end, but what a ride it has been!
That is a wrap on the BPP Natchez Trace 2026. See you on the next adventure!π΄π΄π

Thursday delivered a challenging but rewarding day from Witch Dance to Kosciusko in perfect conditions. A road closure along the route meant we shuttled riders and bikes around the construction section, picking the ride back up in French Camp, where tasty homemade cinnamon rolls were waiting to sweeten the detour. After that pit stop, it was smooth sailing the rest of the way into Kosciusko, MS, where we reconnected with longtime BPP friends and settled in for a well-earned rest.
The next morning, Kimberly of Blue Plate Catering treated our crew to a fabulous homemade breakfast that had everyone fueled and ready to roll. After four days of ideal weather Friday brought a steady sprinkle that we didnβt let bring us down.
That same day brought a bittersweet fork in the road for our little community. About half of the group wrapped up their adventure with a great 37-mile ride to the Pearl River SAG stop. We hope to see you back on the road for another PAMPERED trip very soon!
The other half are pushing on for two more days of riding with an overnight in Natchez, MS still to come. Stay tuned!

Days two and three on the Natchez Trace did not disappoint!π΄π΄
Tuesday took us through 69 miles of rolling Tennessee hills, with a favorite stop in Collinwood, TN, where the Dragonfly coffee shop fueled us up. Several fond memories later we had to say goodbye to Tennessee, as we rolled through a corner of Alabama, and crossed into Mississippi!
A stop at Sparks Drive Inn in Belmont is always a treat, where Ms. Karen has been serving up outstanding Southern dishes for decades. The real deal, y'all!
Wednesday brought nearly 75 miles with SAGs at some of the best-known stops on the Trace, starting at the historic Pharr Mounds, a midday refresher at the Natchez Trace Visitor Center, and a breather at the Black Belt Overlook before finishing at Witch Dance. Another fantastic day in the saddle!
That evening, Houston, MS welcomed our gang of Pampered Pedalers in fine fashion. Dinner at Gather (Daisy's on the Square) was worth every mile, the desserts were ridiculous!
Stay tuned as we make our final push south!

Weβre now rolling on our spring 2026 ride down the Natchez Trace Parkway! On Sunday, we gathered at the Residence Inn in Franklin, TN (just south of Nashville) to meet our fellow PAMPERED Pedalers, new friends and familiar faces alike, for a pizza party and rider briefing to kick off the week ahead on one of the most scenic parkways in the United States.
Early Monday morning, we shuttled to the Parkway to officially start our Natchez Trace cycling journey. 60 miles of sunny skies and stunning scenery later, we rolled into our first overnight stop.
This year we have returned to Lawrenceburg, TN, and they welcomed us with open arms and open kitchens. We kicked off a week of southern cuisine in style with dinner at 1819 The Restaurant. Stay tuned all week as we make our way south!
